Microsoft, for some strange reason, waited until now to release their assets for the Games Convention. Here's a couple of images from Lionhead Studios Fable 2.

Dont you feel like you remove alot of the game by being able to unlock everything straight away?
The game looks great.. looks like that last minute polish is coming in to effect
i have over 500,000 from the pub games and unlocked all the items from there too...u have to merge ur pug account to ur fable 2 hero in order to get the money so u dont have to have everything u win from the pub games wen u first start out u can save it for a later time or jus use it on the second character the next time u play.
When I first saw the dark and gritty artworks the only thing that came to mind was -Tim Burton- which is kick ass anyways the game looks amazing and im defenetly picking it up.. But i dont wanna download the pugames thing on Marketplace kinda feels like a a piece of the game gets lost this way..

Uh, it's a pretty obvious assumption that Fable 2 will eventually be a PC game. Xbox 360--Microsoft Game Studios--Lionhead--Fable--duh? I'm tempted to wait for the PC version (and the "Lost Chapters") version as well. Hell there's even an OSX version of the original Fable.

Hopefully it has proper anti-aliasing. Even if that would mean running at 480p.
AA is the most important thing imo. Heck i can hardly play any game without AA nowadays, the jaggies are the biggest immersion-killer for me.
Luckily 99% of all PC games work with forced AA (if they dont have it natively), and luckily most console games have AA, but not all..

After the originally sold dreadfully on the PC, I wouldn't be too confident about them screwing over their fanbase on the 360 again. Same with Gears of War 2, Halo 3 and Viva Pinata.

I`d expect at least 720p to be honest. Infact I want full 1080p as that`s what we should be getting now, especially this far into the 360`s life. I`ve seen what the 360 can render so why do we have to stick to 720p when 1080p is out there to be ogled at?.

So you`re saying that Microsoft can`t allow us true HD 1080p visuals via dvd then?. If this is correct then you can understand why they want to go into digital download distribution so badly lol. Why on earth bring out an Elite model with HDMI-out on it if the console can only output 720p via it`s optical drive?.
Sort it out Microsoft!. No wonder the Ps3`s U.I looks so crisp! :0)

heh, a mate of mines actually working on this game.. trust me they'll be a pc version..just it wont be out this year.
Microsoft are too greedy, they dont believe in exclusives.. they'll want to milk the pc community of what little its worth too..rather than do the smart thing and actually tempt them to invest in a 360 by leaving them no choice if they want to play the games. Aint gonna happen though.. you'll see halo 3 on pc, gears 2.. cause theres a market there for them.

Shush.. the 360's just as capable of bringing out a game 1080p native as the ps3 is.. the fact is though that most developers dont opt for it on either platform in order to keep frame rates up..and because its not really warrented yet as the majority of people dont have 1080p HD ready tv sets.
I think theres less than a handful of games that are 1080p on the ps3..and most of those are not technically challenging. Theres about the same amount that are 1080p on the 360. Theres actually more games that are 720p on the 360 than there are on the ps3..which even with blue ray still seems to get downgraded versions of multiplatform games...must be why they look so crisp eh.

By releasing a superior version on the PC a few months later? It came to the Xbox later, but yeah. Microsoft really need to learn to keep things like this exclusive to the 360, the thing would sell a lot better if there weren't so many people willing to wait for the PC versions.
And I never said it wouldn't happen, I just said that the poor performance of them may have made them think twice about porting them this time, or at least it should. I know Epic were disappointed with how Gears did on the PC, and a lot of the Xbox fans were upset that they missed out on all of the next content developed for it, so it could all go to the PC version. I'd be shocked to see them do the same to their fanbase again.
I don't really see how that's screwing people over. Hell--I want the PC version of GTA--do I feel screwed that I bought the 360 version early? Hell no, that would just be silly. If anything, Microsoft would be screwing over PC gamers if they withheld Lionhead, Bioware, or Epic games--all games from PC developers.
