So all this buzz and then it turns out it's a Halo 3 expansion .... what a disappointment ... DO SOMETHING NEW for goodness sake!
They are working on atleast 3 projects currently. This one, which you hould be happy about, it means the totally new one will be a full on proper thing, a mystery one, and the Peter Jackson project. Also, this isn't a reveal of anything, so you can't say if its big or not. This is just more hype, its the point just before the break. Wait until you know what the hell this is to bash it, please.

WTH the CG sucked?? I thought it was sharper and cleaner than Halo 3 for sure... Looks interresting IMO... Is this what wasnt shown at E3 due to lack of time??? if it is then it was over hyped that bungie wasnt able to show this... and that they will have their own event to showcase this new Halo 3 stuff.... if its a different campaign expansion Im all for it.... not a big Halo 3 fan anyways but the trailer was bananas...

And dropping the game announcement when the whole gaming journalistic world, and every xbox fanboy, were watching a clock countdown..and instead releasing the teaser on a random thursday without ANY hype build up was pure marketing genius.

Anyway, there was ANOTHER countdown clock on Bungie.net for this reveal and they did viral marketing again that was building hype all over different gaming websites. Sorry if you missed it.

Uh what they need to do is concentrate on getting the game to run in TRUE 720p. Might sound rediculous, but the single reason why i don't play my copy of Halo3, ever, after beating it the first time, is because of the horrible aliasing and shit resolution. The game would look fantastic if only it ran at a decent resolution. This one problem hurts the visuals greatly. Very disappointing.
the thing with "Maddie, where are you" is very weird. If maybe you guys remember, last year there was a brit girl Madelaine McCain (4years old or smth) disappearing (kidnapped, killed?) and they never found her. This was huge on the european news and I remember seeing it also on the american CNN.
In any case, if this on the trailer is any reference to this, is pretty bad taste...if it's a coincidence, then its very awkward
Its an expansion for the campaign that comes with the new mythic map pack that will come out either at the end of this year or early next year. The map pack will include the expansion pack for the campaign and three new maps. In addition to that, there will also be hidden skulls in the expansion as well as more acheivements to unlock. For more about the "extra" achievements (meaning the ones that require a "Mythic" map) stay up-to-date with the Weekly Update on Bungie.net.
