The Devil May Cry 4 demo hit PSN & Xbox Marketplace this week, and most of you probably already have played it. Anyway, while some people think the difficulty is set too low, other's barely finish the demo. So, why not have a little bit of a competition? An old fashion speedrun. Let's see who can finish off the demo fastest, and name him the DMC4 GSY champ. Or something. Anyway, I suck at DMC4. I've only played the demo a couple of times, but I can't get passed that damn fire monster. So, my contribution to this competition is just for the start: my time when I met the monster.

I have kind of never killed him, but then I'm a sports/racing game geek and enjoy kicking balls and stuff. So, get's those thumbs going and do some fine ass finish times! While we kind of don't need proof on your times as there's no prize, it still is welcome if you have a camera close for others to see.

You mean speedrun on "Exterminator", because that is the only one with the timer?

Because "Executioner" don't have any timer, so it doesn't make any sense.

Anyway, I will try and beat Berial in Exterminator. *clears sweat*

But how can we know what time we ended with, people can cheat.

I can't record my gameplay (as much as I would), but most of the regular users knows me so I wouldn't lie about such thing. (seriously I wouldnt :P)

Anyway, I am actually playing it, so I will try and record back if I succeeded.

PS. Another competetion we could have is who gets the highest rank.

D (Deadly) is lowest...SS (Smokin Style) is highest.
I think there is SSS aswell, but I cant confirm it.

We'll just have to trust eachother I guess, I mean - what would you gain on cheating here? Just some restecpa I guess, but who cares. As more people will post their times, more and more images will be become useless - so, I guess people could just take pictures but don't have to do the hastle to upload them to the net. At the end, the guy who claims he is the number one, then can upload his image of his time.

Highest rank is great too, I mean, I haven't even finished it yet so I don't know how the ending screen looks like.

OMFG!
I cant believe I fucking killed the demon shit!

I had 1 minute left to kill him, and I kept reving up after my each attack in the air!

I completely ran pass all the enemies except the ones that had a block path system.

When I reached to Berial I had around 4 minutes and 20 seconds or so.

I didn't even rev up as usual before the fight :P

I got hit by Berial twice, usually I get hit 5-7 times, but this time I have no idea what came to me.

But yeah...1 minute left before the demo ended.

I can say this though...with the highest rank stuff...I can't get pass SS.

I am trying to get more, but my skills arent that great :P

With a bad hungover, I'll do my best to break your times. Or at least break the final boss. Now, with my last time where I ran 24/7, I still have to kick the boss's as in 30 secs to beat your time.

I can do it in under 7...cause..you really dun have to kill everyone.
Well, only when your path is blocked by red-demon-spider webs.

The boss is very easy if you use your exceed system often. Remember, when you take his fire-wings away you can use your arm twice in a row (air then ground).

I'm pretty sure he means he finished the demo in under 7 mins, which I can definitely see happening...If you were Itagaki :P...then again, he'd just download, play the demo, and then piss on the 360 just for existing.

No its not BS to complete under 7 minutes... I think some think like 3:15 (and more) left is easily done if you are good with that boss. I know I could do that but I lost interest in the game :)
