There is more people sending in their 360s and are in dissapointment than people enjoying it :S
That is simply not true.
Those who haven't got the red lights must have put a lucky charm above it not to die or something.
It's okay, I'm probably going to get cancer instead. Karma is a bitch.

Well that's certainly true. I have a launch console still, and trust me.. I worry about it. If three years passes and I'm no longer covered I would be mighty upset. I actually hope it breaks down before the warranty is up, so I can get it refurbished.

Alternatively, I thank the heavens and hope it never breaks down.

Ah well, I say bring on the DS and DMC4 demos on PS3 soon and I will be fine.
I took Phaethon's advice and just called them last night and said it did :p They should be sending the box out today.

Thought about chunking it in the microwave for like a second or 2, that would have killed it alright. Always did the trick for my old cable modems, or iPod when I wanted them replaced. However, those are rather small in comparison. Pretty sure I would have burnt down the house if I tried to do it with the 360 :p

Hire some hitman to "take care" of your 360, they know how to take care of everything :P

...or send it here, then I can use my not-lucky charms while playing it so it can get RROD, appereantly, I am good with it :P *fact* haha

Ah well, I will just wait it out, its not like I have nothing else to do (upcoming demos on PS3) which will keep me very busy if that damn DS and DMC4 demos came, damn it!

ManThatYouFear you should have a 9th Anniversary for how many 360s you have got...or wait for another one to break to it gets to 10 and celerate the 10th Anniversary of broken X360s :P

I hope the 9th is enough, and the 2nd is enough for me.

Nah, this was my 2nd 360. I was having problems with my shitty DVD drive, but they wouldn't repair/replace it unless I had RROD. So I originally told a white lie and said it did have RROD(figuring they don't really check) and they shipped the box out, but now looks like my little white lie is now indeed true. Sweet Irony :p

Anyway, when I get the repaired/replacement back, I'm just going to sell it off. I'll buy a new one later in the year.

I called MS for sending a empty box as well, but appereantly, they don't send out boxes anymore :S

So I found one, and wrapped up around 6-7 big newspapers and such around the 360 (the box is a bit bigger than the 360), so it doesn't get any harm.

The dude behind the phone said when they are gonna return the box 360 to you (fixed or another one) they will send it it in a proper box.

UPS are gonna pick it up this week.

Ah well, I have no hurry..PS3 FTW :P

Well, last time mine took "just" two weeks. I recommend you tell them you are very unhappy with the time it took to get through the whole process when you send the feedback form. Let's not let them get comfortable.
