A friend of mine just told me that you can find a Zegapain XOR demo on the JPN Marketplace.
It should be about 282MB to download and seemed to work fine on his PAL X360 so not region coded.

Just wanted to share this info with you peeps.

I just tried the demo and its pretty good, graphics are nothing special but they do the job.

Reminds me a lot of Gunvalkerie. (controls wise)

I'll probably get this, if it is released outside of Japan.

I am not into mech games, but for the first timer this is awesome game. Now I most definately cant wait for Armored Core 4.

Ps. The music sounds awesome, have to get it =D

I got an S Rank (That's the best rank usually, Im right?) the third time I played the demo. Anyway, that's a really cool and fast game. What score you got Jolli?

I'm most concerned with the gameplay I wont be able to play it yet, but how is the gameplay guys? Is it as good as a game like that should be?

I thought the gameplay was as good as you could expect from a game like this. (it's basically a 3D Japanese shooter more than a mech game)

There are 2 Zegapains to choose from in the demo, one has fast fire and less damage and one has slower fire but greater damage.

Whether there will be add on's or different Zegapain's with different special moves i don't know. (I hope so at least)

I like the first one that looks like human form. But aleast Jolli I now know how these kind of games plays, because I have only seen them in videos. I wont buy Zegapain for the 360, but I will wait for AC4 to arrive.

WOW

That game sucks. That's what I call shallow gameplay. The intro was very nice, but that's the best the demo has to offer. Shoot, shoot, shoot, hack n' slash, horrible. I wouldn't play it more than what I did the demo, imagine how repetitive that thing is going to get, just bad.

As for the graphics, they are pretty empty. Seeing how noting looks really special, I would hope for some huge battles, but no, it's a few enemies here and there.

You could call any Hack and Slash or shooter shallow.

It's like me saying Wow PGR3 is this all it has to offer Driving Driving Driving..

I mean come on what were you expecting from a 3D shooter ?

NO it's the same as saying PGR3 is just driving. What do I expect from a 3d shooter? It depends really, a 3rd person shooter? Max Payne 1 and 2 was something different from the rest, zone of the enders which is somewhat like this game was an awesome 3d shooter, there are many but the point is this game is shallow--and not because the kind of game it is.

But that's all I'll talk about this game, is a boring shooter.

PS. I'm buying the PGR3 style pack that just came out, and we can now transfer photomode pics to the official website!!!

Tell me why do you think Max Payne something different from the rest? I found that game (Max Payne 1, I never wanted ro play the sequel) so boring and repetitive.

Lebato, Max Payne isn't just a simple shooter though is it, it has Action/RPG elements doesn't it ?. (not that i've played it :P)

Max Payne is justa very simple 3rd person shooter with matrix bullet-time and it makes it unique all of the sudden, and the game sucks in my opinion.

no but seriously a 3rd person action game can be variant in many ways, but PGR3 is just a driving game. Dirivng games that got guns and stuff is different, think about Full Auto *shrugs of boringness* But PGR3 is not a good example to take up.

But since this is my first robot action game I think its awesome, because I now know how these kind games plays, I played Gun Metal on the Xbox very long time ago, and it was great for its time. But I will be playing Zegapain now and then, but if I am about to buy a robot action game I will most definately go with Armored Core 4.

Max Payne in my opinion was a pretty good game it was one of the best damn pc games for awhile and the pc doesn't see too many great games like it.

Meaning great single player games.
