2006-09-05 05:13:09 Phantasy Star was the hotness on Dreamcast. I've never played online, but if its free for 360, I will. Full Auto didn't sell on 360 because it was a crappy game...Sega should know better. --- |

2006-09-05 06:08:06 * No Full Auto 2 for the XBOX 360 at all. The first one did not sell well so they will not be making a sequel for the XBOX 360. I like the no monthly fee for PSU though, it shouldn't have a fee anyway, its not an MMOG nor will it be updated regularly like one. |

2006-09-05 10:53:10 The word from the devs (Pseudo Interactive) was that FA2 will only hit PS3, but that Full Auto as a franchise will be all over, so it's likely that FA2 is half a port and that the real 3 will be for 360 aswell. --- |

2006-09-05 23:01:00 In reply to GriftGFX (2006-09-05 08:59:46) Posted by GriftGFX huh? Were you expecting them to give you their games for free or something? If anything, doubt it because PSO on Xbox 1 required a hunters liscence. Ahd Sega is still quality--they've just increased their production of shit. There's still Virtua Fighter, their racing franchises..Yakuza, and a pretty killer looking arcade line up in progress. Oh, Lollercoster at Sega thinking that FA2 will sell better on the PS3 than the x360. The game didn't sell because it sucked, not because people are unwilling to buy sega games. It's gonna take more from sega to get me excited about their games comming out, especially after the altering of Yakuza (because someone at SOA missed the fucking point) and the Armored Core 4 Faggotry. |

2006-09-06 00:26:09 In reply to Mesoian (2006-09-05 23:01:00) Posted by Mesoian I expect their ratio of good games to bad ones to be a little better than 2:7. Especially if we're paying 60 dollars. Oh, Lollercoster at Sega thinking that FA2 will sell better on the PS3 than the x360. The game didn't sell because it sucked, not because people are unwilling to buy sega games. And you're criticizing them mostly as a publisher it seems, since it's all about bashing Full Auto and how AC4 is being handled--two games that Sega has very little to do with the developement of--if you're going to go that direction, than you might as well count Condemned--in which case, at $60 we've only recieve what, two sega titles? At a quality ratio of what... 1:1? If you're a Sega hater, they aint changing your mind. Sega's real fanbase knows that they haven't lost their touch--PSU looks good, Yakuza (despite being "altered") looks good as is recieving possitive reviews (of the translated version), Condemned proves that they're open to new ideas as a Japanese publisher..so go on with your Sega hatin self. If it takes more than great games to make you care about great games--than well, I don't think it's SOA that's missing the point. |

2006-09-06 00:31:44 Chromehounds was Sega published to. Anyway, if PSU don't have monthly fees i'll be so happy, I was going to buy only for the solo. |

I haven't been all that impressed with Sega since they stopped making their own hardware. Sure VF and Sega Rally will always be great, but they haven't brought out a brilliant or new game idea for ages (besides Shenmue lol) saying that i haven't played Yakuza but i doubt it would interest me. However I don't consider games such as Chromehounds, AC4, Condemned and Full Auto much to do with Sega really as they didn't develop them. |

Sure, Sonic Team's made themselves sorta look like a joke lately--but personally I think it all makes sense--Sonic took a back seat during the developement of PSU, and he's getting plenty of attention with this new installment it seems. How in the world could you have no interest in Yakuza if you're a fan of Shenmue? |

It's currently @ 81% on gamerankings--last I checked 81% was somewhat above average--I do believe on some scales 81% would actually be better than good--some may even say great. |

2006-09-07 14:08:11 Yakuza is developed by Amusement Vision, an in-house Sega team, and headed up by the brilliant Toshiro Nagoshi. The game was released in japan to critical acclaim and scored a much respectable 10, 10, 9, 9 in Famitsu. --- |
