The demo was terrible. Probably the worst demo I've played on 360. Made me yearn for MTV deathmatch on Xbox1. Yeah it was that bad.

It is the worst demo I have downloaded and played on the Xbox 360.
Name me a demo that is worse than Just Cause to jog my memory. But as far as I can remember Just Cause is the worst. I actually played it for 15 or 20 mins, and my character never died once, after being shot up thousands of times. Shadows were terrible. Graphics in general were hit or miss. Controls weren't intuitive. The stunt mode was... I don't have words to properly describe this mess of a game. If it had cooked for maybe 6 or 9 months more, it may have been better.

Just Cause's Demo was dredful i mean it complete and utter crap.

a 6.8 is being way to generous and an 8.8 :| yeah thats some BS right there, cant even buy a good honest review nowadays.

Having played the demo..it blows my mind that this got an 8+ anywhere--6.8 is probably being kind. I agree that it's about the worst demo I've played on 360--in over all (lack of) production value, it's definitly king of the kill. The Chromehounds demo was fairly boring (i hear the full games mp is worth it, though)--and I guess RRXX sorta sucks--but Just Cause takes the cake.

Wow! I found the demo to be good. If the game is anything like the demo then I would have thought the game to be worth getting!

I thought 8.8 seems to be about right going by the demo.

Gee talk about polarised opinion! I loved the demo, played it a few times, so did a friend.

I'm aware of the faults but it didn't bother me. I thought the general concept of the game was great.

Me and my friend loved the demo too. I admit we both hated it at first, but after playing it a bunch of times, we got the hang of it and we're both buying it next week.

the just cause demo was pretty amazing; beautiful art style to the game, runs beautifully on the 360, and the gameplay was just pure unadulterated fun.

zooming around in the speedboat at dusk was pretty amazing!

Beautiful art? The game is pure ugly, if you call blurring out everything and over-using HDR to blur out even more of its faults beautiful, i geuss thats up to you.

The gameplay was nasty, really nasty, driving, it wasnt realistic, not that it has to be, but it wasnt even fun, it was a chore to drive, theres no sense of speed or control at all, you feel like your just got your foot down and at the mercy of the car.

The Aiming function sucked all the fun out of the game which could have been a little bit fun, but no, they decide to let you lock onto a man 500 meters infront of you, who you cant even see by the way but can see you, and just hold down on the trigger and hey presto, he's dead.

This game feels like a PS1 game seriously. The gameplay is so PS1 and the graphics arent far off that.

You seem to be focusing on it's faults to much without appreciating the good points about the game.
You mentioned the aiming, I understand you point but it's still a reasonably good system - GTA's aiming is Crap but you don't hear people mention that do you? That's because people focus on whats positive about the game.
