With Capcom's track record I don't believe for a second it'll stay exclusive. I imagine Dead Rising is a better fit for a western audience though, so I think that has a better shot of staying on Xbox.

Lost Planet will eventually have a much bigger prospect of sales on the PS3 (given the PS3 eventually does its playstationy thing and sells like hotcakes of course) and especially in japan they'll prolly want to get it in the hands of consumers.

I don't mind it going all over the place, but there's some undecisiveness this january whether to pick it up for the 360 or not. If it does pop up on PS3 it'll have a new chapter thrown in for good measure, just like every other ported capcom game ever, so to avoid a RE4 style having-to-buy-it-again scenario, it might be best to wait.

That is also - of course - why they'll want to keep a lid on the possibility of a PS3 version.

Not in the article I posted he didnt, he probably didnt know about the game being exclusive in the other seeing as barely anything capcom does is exclusive. But once that "Only on xbox" tag is on the box, Its pretty much a gaurantee that the game is 100% exclusive, seeing as no game with it was ported to another console.

On Xbox there really aren't any comparable Capcom games.

Dino Crisis 3 but nobody wanted that XD

Lot Planet is kind of an evolution of Dino Crisis 3 really, swap the dinosaurs for bugs, drop the jet packs (well VS still have them i suppose), swap space for an icey wasteland.

Hmmm

It's a shame Lost Planet isn't an arcade like shooter i would be much more interested in it.

Thats totally different, anyone can use the only for gamecube tag, but to get only on xbox tag you need to sign a exclusivity contract.

PS3 will have more "awesome games" or should i say more games that i want than the 360 will, i can pretty much guarantee that.

Plus i didn't see in that interview you linked to, him saying the Lost Planet franchise is MS exclusive "and that is a fact".

You haven't convinced me at all, i still think it has a very strong chance of coming to the PS3.

MS do NOT own the IP to Lost Planet, Capcom could easily pull a Namco and release a sequel.

You could very well be on to something regarding the "Only on xbox" perhaps thats why Namco couldn't release RR6 on the PS3. BUT...

That doesn't change the fact that RR7 is basically the same game though.

Not just anyone can use the Only on tag for gamecube, though I suppose it's convenient to believe that. Killer 7 didn't have it, and that was part of the "5 exclusives" for Gamecube that Capcom hyped up. Why wouldn't they use it if anyone could?

My only bias is towards the truth.

and Ninja gaiden was xbox exclusive to, not anymore and that game had the xbox only tag either.

Capcom is not that loyal with exclusives, and since the 360 isn't popular in Japan it might come to ps3(perhaps Japan only). but it won't in the next year.
It al depends on how wel it will sell on the 360. The future wil tell
