Capcom updated the official community site with the following details regarding the community Launch Event.

Be among the first to experience the full retail version of Lost Planet™ one day before it's released to the public. There will be food and drinks, prizes, a giant Multiplayer Tournament, and even the chance to go toe-to-toe against folks from Capcom®.

"You’ll have a chance to meet the Lost Planet development team and watch (or take part in!) an epic Lost Planet multiplayer tournament, with winners scoring cool prizes and the chance to play against the Lost planet developers. Master LEGO Builder Nathan Sawaya will be there creating LEGO masterpieces on the fly, and there will also be a t-shirt press where players can design their own lost Planet shirt, choosing from several pieces of game art and logos. Dozens of 360s set up throughout the event will allow partygoers to try the single player game or to compete against each other in multiplayer matches on the full retail version before the game is released to the public!"

I am just sad that I dont live in US in Cali to get my ass to that event.
Lost Planet is my Crysis and Metal Gear Solid haha, so I like it alot. Anyways, 2 weeks and the game is mine.

Mission 01 Cleared
Successfully complete Mission 01.


Worm Hunter
Defeat the giant worm!

Moth Hunter
Defeat the giant moth!

"EARTH" Explorer
Find all of the target marks in Mission 01.


Ace Medal
Collect 10 Ace Medals in Elimination matches online.


Elimination Medal
Collect 10 Elimination Medals in Team Elimination matches online.


Conqueror Medal
Collect 10 Conqueror Medals in Post Grab matches online.

Hunting Medal
Collect 10 Hunting Medals in Fugitive matches online.

Grand Slam
Collect all four types of medals in matches online.

Online Master
Reach level 50 in online battle.


Chain Killer
Waste 10 opponents in a row without dying in online battle.


Head Hunter
Head shot 50 enemies in online battle.

All the rest of the achievements are Secret Ones (odd isnt it ?)

Awesome, in 2 more weeks the CE will be MINE!! Don't care what reviewers say, also reading people's impressions who own the game in Japan, seems like MP is where its at. So I'm guessing they improved a lot on it from the demo that was released like a month ago.

Pretty sure I read that there were 3, the first one I hear is easy, but gets tuff towards th end. The last 2 can be an challenge right off the back

Such an idiot, comparing a sword/gun game to a pure sci-fi shooter, he is a idiot. Might as well compare Ninja Gaiden to Lost Planet while we are at it huh?

Now I know though that there is Easy, Normal and Extreme. I am going to start with Normal obviously, then Extreme, and then Easy for quick kick ass speed.
