2007-02-15 22:45:43 hehe, yeah they still need to make some improvements on the online mode. Lost Planet Updates: • In the pre-game lobby, a country flag icon will be shown next to the Gamertag of each player. This will be especially helpful for determining location of the match host. • In the pre-game lobby, an icon will be added next to each player’s Gamertag, indicating connection strength, speed and rating. • In Team Elimination, Post Grab and Fugitive modes, an indicator will be added next to the Gamertag of the person who is speaking. • At the post-match Results screen, an indicator will be added next to the Gamertag of the person who is speaking. • At the post-match Results screen, Gamertags of the players who have left the session will be darkened. Bug Fixes • Sometimes in Fugitive mode there would be multiple Fugitives instead of just one -- Fixed • Occasionally, if an error occurred on the lobby screen, another lobby screen would be displayed on top of it -- Fixed • Sometimes when there was a long delay/lag, the game would hang at the transition screen going from the lobby to the game and then reboot -- Fixed • Sometimes when there was a long delay/lag, depending on the console, certain players in the match would become invisible for the duration of the match -- Fixed • Sometimes post-match Results screens would show players who did not participate in the match -- Fixed • Starting a taunt animation during a reload shortened the reload time as an exploit -- Fixed --- |

2007-02-16 02:28:24 The game has unblance issues but they dont differ the outcome of the game, that much. GOW on the other hand has major balancing issues and bug issues. But you dont see people like sath bitching about it. |

I'm really looking foward to playing it eventually, I'm not sure there will be much life left to the multiplayer by the time I get there though. For those who have it, and have been playing it--how does the MP compare to the MP demo? I'm sure it's improved, but, how so? |

2007-02-16 09:00:31 I think Gears of War is balanced until not everyone shotgun whores it as hell. For those who have it, and have been playing it--how does the MP compare to the MP demo? I'm sure it's improved, but, how so? The online is a bit wierd, at least it was for me. When I was on level 50 or 50+ I always went to the team of idiots were they sucked, and my team got owned so much, because the other team had like 3-4 50+ levels, while I was like the only one. I don't know I think it is very unbalanced when playing, sometimes it is fun because you are winning or have just pure luck, but most of the time it's crap and boring and frustrating. In the end it is about taste you know. --- |
