What happened "Gears of War is exclusive to Xbox 360"?

Ah well I don't care for Gears of War so much anymore, bring my Mass Effect NOW!

its still exclusive to the 360 and if it sells on PC, MS is still making money since most people will be playing it on there pc's that have Windows installed.

i agree with kenshin.

i don't understand why people get mad when it also comes out on pc. it still helps MS out. now if it came out on the ps3 then i'd be raising hell. on Nintendo, i wouldn't mind

Epic already admitted its coming to the pc in an interview.

They said they weren't sure when though. With Gears of War selling the way it is you can be rest assured it wont touch the pc for quite sometime until they feel it has sold as much as it possibly can on the Xbox 360.

Gears the way it did last holiday season has deserved another holiday season of exclusivity on the Xbox 360 and I think epic realizes that. Depending on how Gears sales go this year Epic will start thinking about their plans to bring Gears to the PC. If gears does extremely well holiday 2007 expect the soonest gears could hit pc is like 2009.

I guess when NG went to PS3 THAT got me going crazy about Xbox exclusive, but you guys are right. Gears on PC will help MS with money. More money more product, like Xbox 3.

Chill dude, if it takes as long as Jade Empire or Halo 2 no-ones going to care. It didn't remotely affect GTA's ability to sell PS2.

This stuff goes both ways--no suprise here. This is actually one shooter where I think the gamepad is nearly perfect anyway. A rare occasion when I'd actually prefer to play a shooter with console controls, but Epic did it.

it still is exclusive, just like halo is still exclusive and yet is on the PC, the PC market does not count thats why it is called a"console war"

No just fan-idiots made that idiotic thing called "console war" too many nerds out there that dont have anything better to do than keep bashing other consoles.

I seriously do not care so much about Gears of War going to PC anymore, I even know that Mass Effect will be joining it as well.

Might as well make every great exclusive game from 360 to PC because we know it will be headed there anyway.
Halo 3...many years from now it will go to PC Vista.

i dont that stuff goes to the pc myself, i would rather play it on my 360, i just really dont enjoy pc based games (wow and RTS are great on the PC though ....)

"Only on Xbox" STILL doesn't say anything about PC. Separate markets people!

Oh and as evident by Enchanted Arms on PS3 in US and for EU launch I guess it.. doesn't really mean anything at all. :)

Yeah, timed exclusive. Thing is, I talked about this over at PSY once but nobody would believe me then. But yeah, it can mean timed exclusive, or even "exclusive" because there are no immediate plans to bring it out elsewhere. Apparently there's no actual money involved though - or rather there doesn't have to be. That's what "my guy" tells me anyway.
