2007-02-16 22:02:13 Wwe smackdown vs raw 2007 is so fun.

Man I was just here playing a few moments ago with my 7 year old nephew and man once you take a glance in the book to learn a couple of the basics things start to get much more in depth as you play the game. It just never feels as if there is a lack of things you can do in the game.

Like I'm still being surprised by the number of things I can do in this game. For a ps2 game it looks incredible and for a 360 game its pretty average I guess, but this is easily one of the funnest games on the Xbox 360 and its something that I just don't get tired of playing :D I assume the 360 version has xbox live support as well I'm loving this game.

I really want the halo 3 beta with crackdown, but I think I just might cancel my crackdown pre-order and use the money on the 360 version of this game. Then again its not like I'd be missing out on the beta if I delay buying crackdown so I guess thats that =P Its crazy how fun this thing is. I originally wasn't too impressed with the gameplay, but thats just on the outside looking in. The more you learn the more fun it gets. Love the strike counters, grapple counters, finishing move counters. The many different moves you can do depending on you and your opponents location in the ring. I think what finally sealed the deal was playing with the rock then doing the rock bottom then immediately going to the people's elbow and seeing him take off his elbow pad (which was done in previous wrestling games I've played) but I guess just seeing it again got me excited lol.

Then of course there is the always fun season mode :)

I don't know I was pretty hardcore into the n64 wrestling games and have enjoyed all the ps2 smackdown titles to death.

Season just never seems to get old for me with different characters maybe its just me. Especially when you get a belt. There is a real feeling of accomplishment when y our wrestler comes out wearing the belt.

Lol, weird American sport...Kudo's for the dudes performing, it does require a lot of skills and technique to do this, I just don't get why people get excited about a match that allready has a winner determined on forehand.

Anway, the game seems to have captured the "show factor" pretty well, not my cup of tea though...

i was playing a triple threat hardcore match.

The Rock = Me
Eddie = Some guy
Triple H = some guy

I was a punching bag for those two through about 2/3 of the match.
I was being used for the quick pins (i was so badly beaten)

Then suddenly *BAM* hit both with a chair!

Triple H was out cold and Eddie was leaning on the ropes.
Kicked Eddie off the ropes and out of the ring.
Suddenly tripple H gets up.

Myro: "not today!"

BAM, kick to the stomach ROCK BOTTOM and pin FTW!!

it was a great moment.

I truelly <3 this game! I cant stop playing it. I agree on all points with you Optimus it's so much and it's easy to pick up. For me there are a couple of things that make it more fun.

1) Being able to play the matches of your dreams. Or that might never happen, for example Hulk Hogan vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin. And I love that you can choose the types you. I always wanted to replay the hell in a cell match between the Undertaker and Mankind.

2) Playing season mode with your favorite wrestlers. I've played season mode atm with Triple H and the Undertaker. Next up are HBK and Batista.

Because I watch wrestling myself I love to play with all my favorite wrestlers. Or play on easy against the ones I hate with my favorites and just torture them and K.O them on the announce table ^^

Yes this is my nr 1. title for my Xbox 360 atm. Even like and play it more then Gears of War ^^

Yea I agree I really like Gears, but I'm pretty certain I'll play this game a lot more.

Pure fun at its finest. Haha yea Myro I love those come from behind victorys :)

Imagine what a proper next gen version will be like :D

I cancel the damn game (crackdown) and they STILL send it.

Now I'm tempted to open it for the halo 3 beta (when its eventually available)

Damn it I'm just going to make them return it to the sender cause I told them specifically I wanted it canceled, but I guess I canceled it too late. I want my refund.

I got to agree with you on that kenshin I hate the damn loading times! Hopefully with the next version it will be less loading times 'cause it just makes me wanna stop playing after the loading screen nr. 1000.

And what I also find kinda sucky is that the story lines are replays. I played almost completly the same story line with HBK Shawn Michaels as with Edge and Triple H. Because Raw and Smackdown got kind of the same story line. So I played with Batista and the Undertaker and again almost the same story line. Wished they would add a lot more different story lines into the new game!

I think it's kinda weird that Matt Hardy is in it but Jeff Hardy isn't. Jeff is cooler imo :-P I mean Umaga is in it and he's been in Raw for a shorter period of time then Jeff Hardy.( Although he did beat Jeff Hardy for the intercontinental championship on Monday.....bastard >_>)
