Game Informer Review 8.0, 8.5 ( their man gripe was lack of Online features and not improving on the modes that much from VF4 Evo and dropping some of the training mode features, despite it all they still said they enjoyed playing it) I kind of agree with some of the gripes, hopefully they will improve on them for the 360 version.

Good call. This is the "official" VF5 thread then. Will post my impressions here as well, as soon as I get a chance to pick it up. Hopefully that will be on the 20th, but we'll see how that goes. I'll do my best to grab it next week regardless.

Friend of mine over here recently got a PS3, and is going to try and find VF5 today. I don't know if today is the ship date or release date, but w/e, hopefully will get to play some either today or 2morrow.

not the same as the Japanese one, unless they have different version coming out that I'm not aware of

actually that is the same as the Japanese one, we just don't have the High grade one, yet.

That EB games link doesn't seem to work. The high grade stick isn't really that expensive to import, if I had more cash for gaming right now, I'd jump all over that. The DOA4 stick is much more expensive for 360 used..

well thats it, also i find it weird how EB/Gamestop seem to be charging $10 more for the controller. I've been to 3 other sites they all have it for $49.99 while EB/GS have it for $59.99...

That looks too much like the other several cheap Hori sticks I have laying about. I'll either grab an adapter, or go for the high grade. In a perfect world--the DOA4 stick would work without an adapter on the PS3.

I wonder if the DOA4 stick will work on the 360 version?


Also, I doubt friend will get the stick, so I'm going to funk around and try to do Akira's Knee with the PS3 controller. I never could get it with the controller, could do it with the stick though. I know it's not really needed, more of a flash move than anything. But still, it will give me something to do. That should take all day just to get it down, thats if even I can get it :(

Ahh, I see. Well Sega should release a stick for the 360, well they better! I still am wondering when VF5 is really releasing on the 360, there seem to be rumors buzzing that it will release sooner than the 6month exclusive thing or w/e. Or could just be hogwash, lies and slander like usual.

anyways, i have a PS2 now for the time being, just sitting here. Time for some VF4 Evo! :O

The files are kind of big, I think around 100-200mb, and the speeds could be better. Still once downloaded, good times..
