2007-02-24 17:28:46 WarDevil - news on September 2007!

Ok, not a lot of you guys might have heard about this title, but I can't blame you, there isn't so much to know, because there is no information about this.

However that is gonna change.
I visited WarDevil official site right now after like a year and they have stated that new media and info will be coming up in September this year.

For those that do not know what WarDevil is, I can say this, its a shooter with very cool art design of sci-fi elements, which I love...sci-fi!

They actually showed something on TGS or E3 last years about some guy with ling hair, which I hated, but I do not know what is what. There is WarDevil Enigma and WarDevil.

Yeah, I remember this game, but wasn't the 360 version canceled, and now its only on the PS3?

nonetheless, it looks awesome. Can't wait till it eventually sees the light of day, which will be a while :(

That's what I thought too, but he got his media from IGN's xbox site? I remember hearing the same, perhaps we were just misinformed. Then again--it wouldn't be the first time that IGN were the ones misinformed :P

There we go, IGN updated it. I remember felling bummed, but I don't mind picking it up for the PS3. Still, thanks for the info Sath, I hadn't seen some of those screens before. really wish there was more info out there on this game

The 360 never got cancelled, some incredible stupid jackass sony fanboys said, just because it was 1080i at that time when they showed it on E3 06. But now that the 360 can go up to 1080 its back.

It was never confirmed for anything of it being exclusive or cancelled, just idiots with their rumor.

Well September is long way ahead of us, yes but great games are coming way early *cough* Mass Effect, so we keep playing these kind of great games until September and it will past very fast without us knowing it, kind of like January did.

The only thing I am confused about this is the secondary title. WarDevil and WarDevil Enigma.

I've read as much on multiple sites--and it's worth noting that they actually mention the PS3 on their website and I see no mention of Xbox anywhere. That may not mean anything--but when you've got multiple press sources claiming that the 360 version was canned, and no mention of it even existing on their website..why would you assume the opposite?

I guess they haven't even really said who their publisher is yet, so it could go either way.

Its either exclusive or time exclsuive, like Assassins Creed. I hope it comes to 360 as well.

Yeah, all the sites I've been to are saying this is a PS3 exclusive. But the developers are using that famous, "as of now" it is PS3 exclusive line. So it could easily change in the coming months, and a 360 version could be officially announced

Well we don't know who is publishing this yet either, that could ultimately make a big difference. If EA or Ubisoft winds up picking it up, I can't imagine that it wouldn't go multiplatform.

well at the moment my 2008 ps3 will only have mgs4 besides it, so if this turns out to an interesting game, it will be game number 2 for the ps3 (as long as mgs4 and wardevil dont get anoouced for the 360 b4 2008 that is :) )
