April 9, 2007 - Instead of searching for Easter Eggs or drinking Bloody Marys on Good Friday last week, IGN spent time killing terrorists in the upcoming Rainbow Six Vegas Player's Pack Red Edition. We've got nothing against a day off, but when it comes to playing new maps and modes in Rainbow Six Vegas, we're there.

For those not unfamiliar with the Player's Red Pack Edition, Ubisoft is following tradition by giving gamers more to play on their Xbox 360s than just a single retail copy. This new downloadable content, the "Red Edition," includes two new multiplayer modes and five new maps, and is solely downloadable via Xbox Live on Thursday, April 18 for less than 1,000 Microsoft Points (about $10).

And it was supposed to come out like the 31st of march....

They better start releasing more content cause most of the hardcore players are getting a bit bored of playing the same shit over and over again....

It's out today!

I haven't checked it, i'm gonna get it tomorrow so i'll report back with some feedback!

well it turned out to be 800 points. Conquest is an awesome addition, my favorite mode from black arrow. The new maps and reduxs are also very good. Assasination is cool but ends way too fast if the VIP is an idiot

Still overpriced, but at least it includes a lot of content. Sounds like a nice addition.

I got it. Played some terrorist hunt and only saw 4 maps. Is the Border Town redux map only available in other modes? Or did that map get cut?

The 3 new maps are great though.
