I am VERY intrigued.

Sony Online Entertainment doesn't have a good track record with games but this idea almost sounds like it CAN'T fail.

Release: Late 2007? Looks like Sony has been working on this for a long time, I wonder what else they have up their sleeves.

Reading more about it has me even more interested. There are two primary agencies: Paragon and Unite. Paragon are mercenary types, where as Unite are more James bond types MI6 style.

The combat/gameplay is 1st or 3rd person shooting, I think we can predict the Paragon style gameplay, it's the Unite that has me more interested, since this is set in the future, there's lots of room for cool tech.

Also as you go through the game you can set up your own agencies and form partnerships with other agencies.

It sounds very promising, I just hope the shooting doesn't look as "UT" as Huxley did the last time I saw it.

However, I am a MMO nut. So I will keep an eye on this. Hope they issue some sort of Beta or something.

Just watched it myself, game has a TF2 kind of look to it, mixed in with a bit of PDZ to me. The Graphics look good considering it is a MMO, and the animations looked good too. I was impressed by the video somewhat.....by not impressed by the game(if that makes sense). I still need more info, and maybe a developer walkthrough video. Still it's worth keeping an eye on.

Does this have a release date yet by chance, or target at least? I'm also assuming this will be pay to play, so I wonder what their target monthly charge will be.

It has some way to go but the premise sounds different and fun. I think it was difficult to get a real sense of what the ACTUAL game is like because the trailer was so *animated*. It looked realtime and stuff, and the style is cartoony in a nice way (though at the moment a little bit devoid of personality) but it's hard to imagine what you'll actually be doing when you're sitting there, playing.

Very PDZ-y in parts indeed, and for me who's very keen on PDZ that's a good thing. One to watch.

They're not crap, they're stylised, like TF2.

They're not that impressive, but they're not crap. The gameplay and concept do sound great to me. There's a lot of potential here.

Stylistically it's the same shiny cartoony people, and the mood is pretty similar too, especially in the trailer. The animation is spot on aswell.

PDZ has a much more sophisticated future/retro/disco/agent thing going, but it's a bit early to make that kind of judgement.

Well based on the comment that you didn't make it through the first mission I'm not surprised.

It's a shame though, I really hope you'll boot it up with a friend in co-op one day and get to play it properly.

Hmm, well then I'm at a bit of a loss, really. The first mission is a bit gay admittedly but if the reaction was that strong then it has to have been to something other than the mission structure.

The things I love about the game is the pacing and the ways it juggles stealth and cover pretty casually. The weapons are great, the headshots feel good and I actually find it really pretty.

Music is fantastic too. Generally, I agree with Greg Kasavin's review really.

It's shite in solo though, I can't stress that enough even though you played it in co-op. It's just completely useless.
