Rockstar Games will reveal our second glimpse into Grand Theft Auto IV with the "Looking for that special someone" trailer arriving tomorrow, but they've decided to tease us in the meantime with two new screen shots. As if a short trailer that will only show very select bits from the game wasn't enough.

We've just seen it and thank the gods it actually shows some action. It's got cut scenes, car chases, fire-fights, explosions... Don't be fooled by its nice arty landscape shots at the start. The action isn't far behind.

i think they should be trying to garner even more of a fan base.

i've been seeing a trend of people saying "meh, nothing new" even though they're going to get it but eventually they'll get bored of the same thing. look at pokemon...bad example haha.

So Heretic, do you think that people that don't care for Halo will be running out and buying the revolutionary third installment? Double standards rule, woo!

Seriously, as good as this game is going to sell, do you really think R* cares if they're going to get your money? They're going to sell plenty of copies of this game regardless, to people like me, who enjoy their GTA franchise.

All I know is I'm impressed by the trailer.

God that hour of victory ad up top is annoying. I was already determined not to buy it, but now this helps my decision =P

i'm just saying that it seems like more of the same. i liked vice city because of the soundtrack and that was it. i never beat a gta in my life cause i get side tracked looking for jumps and what not. after 5 to 10 mins of that, i get bored. i was hoping for something new and refreshing but i guess if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I was more directing that at Heretic, who said, "if it's the same..." -- which seems to imply that he doesn't really care much for the franchise. For plenty of us the same level of writing, mission design, and varied gameplay is a good thing. For people who already didn't like GTA going into this trailer -- why would they be impressed?

There are plenty of other sequels on the horizon that are doing just as little (if not much less) to bring their respective franchises forward. But this is GTA, so lets hate it.

Seems like GTA to me. Seems like it may be the best fully 3D GTA yet. Yeah.. that's a good thing.

I strongly dislike GTA but trailer can only be described as impressive! I can't believe a GTA has me excited. Of all the upcoming games it looks to have easily the best voice acting and I like direction the story is going from the little hints in the trailer.

Also, I like how every thing in that trailer seems to have a natural weight to them unlike typical GTA. It actually seems like it will be fun game to play and has alot of things I wished GTA had in the past. I don't know what you crazies are talking about, that sh*t was mighty impressive.
