3rd person military shooter but no way similar to GRAW or Rainbow 6....errr...hope that helps :p

I've never really played SOCOM either.. but I do know that I'd like to see a better/bigger screenshot.

umm, not really. It's kinda hard to describe. It's been like 4 years since i played the first one, that may have a factor in my recollection...

I know that i enjoyed it though.

Definitely pick it up the first one for the PS2 (to play on PS3)

They do objective based gameplay online I heard from 1up Yours, but haven't played it online myself.
