The demo for the new Stuntman game was up on XBL this morning when i got home from work. Just thought I'd let anyone who hasn't seen it know. I didnt see this listed anywhere in the forum, lock if necessary.

Damn, I was hoping for something a bit more interesting than Stuntman. Did we get the all good demos on day 0-1? Guess there's always tomorrow.

Biggest disapointment for me this gen was Reflections and Atari losing Stuntman. They led the way in physics, handling and even damage last gen IMO.

anyway i've given the demo a shot. only played one mission so far (escape) and first disapointment i had was the lack of cockpit view. Even though the cockpit in the first game was crap, i still used it coz it added to the realism alot. this game is a much more forgiving, arcadey game than the first, but one thing that did impress me was the level of action and destruction. With cars flying into you and the road tearing up in front of you it really makes you feel like your in the movie.

May not be what i wanted from a next gen Stuntman game, it is definately worth a go on the demo if not a rent.
hopefully reflections will get it back for the real Stuntman 2 next time

I thought this was a lot of fun for what it's worth when I played it recently. Then again I never played the first...

Guy at work was a big fan of that one so he'll be a good barometer on this.
