The sprint animation is so fluid and realistic, awesome.
But finally you get to see some detail of the "blakc market"

Apperently, "Rubles" is money, don't know why its called "rubles" maybe something in Lasria they call it that.

D3 might as well just cancel the game. They HAD a great oppertunity to show it off but I guess they still want it hush hush. They hush all they want, they are killing the time, and they haven't even said anything about the backstory which sucks.

Dark Sector is now live on gamespot!

*The singleplayer will take 10-12 hours
*Multiplayer confirmed

Okay I watched the live stage demo, and OMg it was soooo kick ass!

They pretty much defined the combat mechanics, and a cool feature to pick up weapons from long distances...etc.

Its awesome for sure!

PS. I honestly didn't know they were gonna show the black market and the loading screen. I love the loading screen image, hopes for a big high-res image of that, desktop you know :P

Edit: OMFG he confirmed that, the suit WILL return, at least that is what he meant. "the space ninja is a bound"

Yeah that boss was bad ass!
Reminded me of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen movie.
If you have seen it, there is a scene were"the Beast" runs and jumps buildings to buildings, that was the first thing that came to my head!

I hate how they keep teasing us with brief glimpses of him, i thought we were supposed to see the whole fight at e3 this year. I hope we get to fight him in the demo they release.

Well I want to see other main characters he gets to meet, or even hear his voice when he talks. something with the story, they didn't reveal anything :(

Besides its not teasing, its torture. How are we gonna suppose to talk about it when the story isn't out there.

The gameplay is bad ass for sure!

Who ever is playing DS in all the footages truly suck at it, makes the game look boring (yes I admit it).

But I am glad they shows some action of the assault rifle. I wonder what that small disc thing with red light on it is?

That gas thing looks like the same one Maulers use for the Tecnocytes (monsters/virus infected)
And that lock on will be awesome when one pro actually plays the game. Gonna try and pull a "Xena" haha.

Absolutely, and that goes for nearly every game on the main page of this site and it's causing people to complain about simple things like the camera and shooting mechanics because the guy playing is only just adjusting to it.

Which is also why I've tried to subtly coerce everyone into watching the live feed on Gamespot because they have PROPER demos and interesting, informative questions by brilliant (funny!) veteran gaming journos like Rich Gallup, Jeff Gerstmann and Ryan Davis, sure to put the game in much much better light and reveal much more about its different aspects.

I'm all for the gameplay videos here, but they rarely do the game justice at all, so they're better watched AFTER you've got an idea of what the game is like.

Of course it's different when it's the 10 minute videos and stuff where the player has had time to get into it more. On a show floor like this things are bound to be shaky.

I agree Simon.

Its like showing off Ninja Gaiden to someone but you suck so badly that the person who you were showing it to think it is boring as hell.

But if a long time Ninja Gaiden fan that has ranks up to very hard or master ninja will most definitely show combats that look very scripted like.

I think that when companies makes game and they are about to show it off, they should always let the best person who is best on their game to play it, not some random "tester" in the company just because he/she works there, wont do the game any justice.

But non the less, you guys wont see Dark Sector played so badly if you see me playing after couple of days.

I will make Hayden look smart and bad ass :P

Wow the gameplay was so intense. He they won't even let you be, if they are even close range they will hit you, they won't even wait or anything.

It's great, but they are like the "villagers" from RE4 kind of enemies, not so hard to take out *sort of*.

But those full out enemies made of metal, those are some advanced ones.

I hoped to see like those full out metal looking dogs, those look very cool.

You guys bring up a really good point though, about the games looking bad because of noobs playing them bad. We often say "wait till you see the game in motion" but sometimes, even that isnt enough, and the wrong impression can be made if the gamer isnt playing the game to its true potential.

Its annoying to hear "this game looks like a button masher" from someone when the game has tons of depth, but the guy demonstrating isnt very skillful. Its not the games fault.

Well its exactly like how it went with Too Human.

Its not what you see, its what you can do.

People kept saying Too Human is like God of War and DMC, but once it was reveiled that it has tons of RPG to it, people stopped saying so.

But in Dark Sectors case it depends. If you are great in these kind of games, you obviously will play better and the game will actually look like a scripted gameplay, but when it comes to someone who suck badly (mostly people making it) looks bad!
