I preferred the colour scheme they used in the original trailer, but this looks quite realistic colour wise so it's good too. I like that menu screen if that's what it is.

I thought the latest e3 trailer was using in-game assets? these shots are using the same color pallet from when the very first trailer was shown way back?

thers no way it looks like the last trailer i played that thing a 100 times, and its pallet more matches the first long e306 trailer in fact at about 6.40sec into the e306 trailer after the creature crashes through the wall and snake cloak flys of, he stands up with his back to the camera and the look and the pallet is almost identical to the screen above, go check it out.. this is by no means a bad thing as it looked better in last years e306 trailer than it dose in the latest trailer.

Lighting conditions are different, and so are the atmosphere effects. There's lots of dust and haze going on in the more arabic background of the latest trailer, and that's affecting the tint of the trailer in general. I doubt assets or lighting have changed in any significant way during the last years, I just think they're different levels/settings.

Just so you guys know, on the 24th, which is I guess today, there's an event in japan celebrating 20 years of MGS, and there's supposed to be media of Kojima playing MGS 4. So there's that to look forward to. :)

MGS Online is the much fabled online MGS that Kojima talked about during the first rumblings of MGS4, but I guess nobody really took them seriously.

But yes indeed, it's a completely separate game devoted entirely to the online aspects established in Substinence. It'll be Socom like in a way, and possibly distributed on PSN.
