Some of the other cutscenes were disappointing but yeah that probably is the best.

Serkis totally makes that scene, but in some instances and the specific fox fight video I saw I thought it was a bit ridiculous at times or overdone, but still really impressive.

Yea the facial animation is awesome :)

Definitely not one of the best cutscenes ever in my opinion. That award goes to a number of the cutscenes in MGS3. MGS3's stuff literally destroys a large number of games out there as far as cutscenes are concerned.

Wait till you see the one at the end of the first chapter, Serkis is awesome in that scene.

I only watched the first minute of this one, trying in vain to keep the story till I play it in September.

Seems a bit overdone really.

The music is overdone, the lines are over-delivered, the animation is over and underdone in some places (it didn't really look like the dude was spitting at all).

But the facial animation is good yes. But you'd expect it to be, its all mocap as we well know, some by Mr Serkis no less.

Is it real time though? I'd be more impressed if it was, Pre-rendered cutscenes in games just seem like a scam these days.

I wouldn't say it's one of the best cutscenese ever....although it does showcase a lot of hauntingly real facial animations.

Best cutscene how ? Id say ME's animations are better. This cut scene was also certainly boring without knowing any of the story.

Apart from facial animations, that cutscene had absolutely nothing to warrant the title "One of the best cutscenes ever", like not even close. The animation looks very stiff and doesnt flow naturally, especially when the Obese kid was swinging that body around, Looked more like an action figure. RE 1/2/3/4, MGS1/2/3/4, DMC 1/2/3 just to name a few all have cutscenes that eclipse this.

Youtube quality sucks.. But as it turns out I already saw the cutscene on 1up I think it was somewhere.. The facial animations and voiceacting is top notch, I agree..
