2007-08-28 16:49:43 Eternal Sonata Dated - US (Sep 17th) EU (Oct 19th) One month later, that's really not too bad considering it's Namco and in fact it suits quite well given that I will be on holiday from 9th September to Oct 20th!! :D |

2007-08-28 22:54:28 In reply to alimokrane (2007-08-28 21:14:51) Posted by alimokrane Really ? did u finish the Japanease version of the game jolli ? I am a bit worried about the repetitivness of the combat system as well. I hope I am wrong. The Combat system basically plays like.. mash A until you run out of time then press Y, do this 3 times, enemy takes his turn then you repeat until you win. Don't get me wrong its not terrible or anything, but its extremely lineary and very cliche, from what i have read over at GAF the story stucks also and has very little to do with chopin. On the plus side the visuals and art style are amazingly good at times and the music is pretty damn good too. I will probably buy the English version because there is nothing else around that i wana play. (at least not until LO comes out :D) --- |

One thing I didn't like was how confined the areas were. That's the only thing that bothered me about the demo. It did seem rather linear and each area was small and segmented in a way that really isn't necessary with todays tech. That was a little disappointing.. oh.. and the voices, ACK! |
