no, sad because I don't have a PS3 to enjoy the demo goodness. I've already seen videos of the complete demo, since you could get it early from Gamestop, but still I want to play it myself :/

Holy shit. Even if I had my PS3 connected to the internet, I wouldn't download this. Way to big. They need to learn how to compress Blu-ray game demos for bandwidth's sake.

When is this game out BTW, Its the only PS3 game i want at the moment.

Would like to see a new Jak and Daxter game next :D

There have been a lot of 360 games break the 1 gb mark, I don't see this being exceptionally big, they are bound to only get bigger.

the 360 Bladestorm demo was around 1.9 gigs if I remember correctly. I didn't even bother with that one :p

and R & C comes out on Oct 30th in NA. No idea about the UK, think it's like the following week.

And I'll be there, not downloading those too! Someone play this and tell me how long it is. Heavenly Sword's demo clocked in at around 2mins for me. It took me 4hrs to download it. Not very good wait:play ratio.

Although stuff normally takes a long time to download from PSN, the fact that everyone was downloading it at the same time didn't help either.

Holy crap...I don't know what, how or why, but I plugged in my PS3 to the ethernet, and it downloaded the demo in 20mins. That's the fastest I've ever downloaded anything off PSN. It's probably because everyone was at the FSU game. Nobody to hog the bandwidth.

Maybe its longer demo than those bullshit ones like HEavenly Sword.


Anyway, I couldn't download it yesterday for some reasn, went to 4% and stopped.
So I woke up around 7:30 in the morning and started to download it, and it went like a charm.

I won't buy the game, but I havebeen waiting to play this game quite alot.

Okay i played it...AMAZINGLY fun game, and gorgeus graphics, gotta say, the best one on PS3 I have seen yet.

Damn it I want this game and Uncharted and Haze...gotta wait for a price cut...way down.

With 3 games in November, then they are gonna keep me busy until January for Dark Sector and hopefully DMC4.

About the demo, its long decent good length, and I am sure as hell gonna play it again once my family wakes up (in 1-3 hours) for higher volume :D

Hehe well I am not into these type of games so much, but the demo was very cool and fun.

However with COD4s online addicting rankings and customizings feature and Mass Effect's large scale RPG, I doubt I have the time to play other games, except for Assassins Creed.
I even have to try and get a job or something to get the later games, but I am confident to say that those can wait even not in day one purchases.

Collecting money, playing these amazing 3 games, and a I will get them in slow progress :)

But yeah no wonder Ratchet & Clank series is famous though ;)

lowest score I've seen it get so far, was an 8.5 from one of the reviews from EGM, the other 2 gave it a 9.5, and a 9. From what I read, sounds like the typical R & C game. Which is good.

Swedish Super PLAY went bonkers and gave it 10/10. For reference, Bioshock got 8, Halo 3 got 9, and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption got 10/10.

They're a bit of a wildcard these days. They used to be the only decent mag here for a while, then they turned crappy, and now they're a pretty refreshing read. The weirdest things get the weirdest scores. Project Sylpheed got 8, that... mecha game.. Z... omething.. also got 8.

Anyhoo, while interestingly random, 10/10 is a pretty wild score. I will pick this game up for damn sure.

Got it pre-ordered will be my first PS3 game.

Originally thought that would be Heavenly Sword, but I'm holding off until next year possibly might not get that at all. This game though to me looks like a winner.
