playable characters are Akira, Sarah, El Blaze, and Eileen. Demo is way too easy though, guessing they dumbed it down for newcomers sakes.

Also, 360's D-pad sucks major balls. Hori or bust :p

Played it and the graphics, meaning skins textures are great :)

I WISH they made Vanessa playable because i like her style and she is a hottie :P

Its slower for sure than DOA and less softy than Tekken.

I still prefer DOA and Tekken over this game.

Atleast I gave it a shot :)

Eileen was bad ass though, like her fighting style, reminds me of Ayane and Kasumi ;)

Kind of a shame Lei-Fei wasen't playable, she was like your tradional ass kicing kung fu guy and he knows Shaolin :D

I use analog stick in fighting games, d-pad is boring.

That is the Ninja guy right? Man i use to kick ass with him on the Mega Drive (genesis) Crazy how old the franchise is i was playing them games as a kid. Do they still have the ring out style wins in it?

If you don't like fighting games (which is sorta weird, if you prefer one fighting game over another) than you're bound to dislike VF or at least not "get" it. VF owns DOA so hard it's not even funny.No amount of sanding will make it as good as an arcade stick.

Grift, its not like I don't like fighting games, I do, but not as much as a fighter fan.
Like I can play it like 1-2 hours but then I get tired of it until I come back to that certain game.

I did own DOA4 and it was VERY fun while it lasted, which was many months, both online and offline, and tons of ownage matches against IsoMac ;) hahaha

Ryu being my favorite, you can't go wrong with DOA4, sure cheap as hell, downgraded from the Ninja Gaiden game, but still.

I did atleats try out VF5 right, most people won't even try out even if its a free demo.

Atleast I played it and can say what I think of the demo, the gameplay mechanics.

I can say this, VF5 was cool and lal, but I think the fact that Lei-Fei, Vanessa wasen't playable, made it boring ;) j/k

But seriously, the game was very cool and all, but I will not buy the game, or neither of the fighting games.

I am more of an shooters fan and "weapons" fans like DMC and Ninja Gaiden and God of War type of games, and a bit of a stealth such as MGS4 *drools*

Besides, you have to like the art and the gameplay system to like a fighting game, because that is all you are gonna look and play anyways, VF5 is not my type.

And no I don't like DOA for its huge titties, but for its fast gameplay and for its multi-level design were you can kick your enemies ass to another level of the game and continue fighting there, meaning interactive environment, which was amazing when DOA3 came out on the Xbox.

Well I played the demo and was left somewhat disappointed.

Doesn't seem as good as VF4, hard to tell from a demo obviously, will have to play some more I guess.

Game looked really good, some of the best use of AA I have seen in the 360 games. I liked that we get to test those new character in it too. El Blaze was awesome. Too bad it didn't have online play.

@ManThatYouFear. Have you tried to play with the VS mode. You can have your training dummy there as long as no one pick up the controller and pwn you :P

That is a very valid point in my opinion. It's a great opportunity to have people really learn the game through the demo. They wouldn't even have to include the full training mode from the final game, but enough to get a taste of what you don't know yet, so to speak, as well as at least set you on the right track.
