Incredible I loved the music and the chick doing the splits just gained a fan :P

My boy Dante even pulled a Bruce Lee Enter the Dragon style :)

Nero also just got some major cool points in my book.

I agree even though I already own a ps3 if I did NOT own one that advert would've sold me on the hype of the machine and I would've bought it. DMC4 the more thats shown of it the more it seems like it was a title Sony shouldn't have lost.

Nice graphics and animation, awful gameplay and dumb main characters. It doesn't get more ridiculous than surfing concrete with an enemy as the board.

I have DMC 3, and I think it is a piece of trash all around. Since graphics are PS2.....well what can I say, it's all around trash. It's not that I don't like it because it's over the top, I like over the top (Crackdown), but nothing stupidly ridiculous. I feel like they are trying to appeal to a kid with the dumb things I saw in the cutscenes.

But gameplay is pretty damn awful, yeah. I think so. The most boring thing I've played for quite a while. And I got the game considering all the praise, not caring I didn't like the over-stupidity of it, it was the gameplay that threw me off. To me it's one overrated game.

By the way, I've stayed out of these topics, but since I watched the trailer and had something good to say (technical).

Wow if he's going to ignore people, he should at least learn that it doesn't effect other users.. and not everyone mass ignores people they don't agree with, because they can't bear opposition to their opinions.

Game looks awesome.. I've never played a DMC game. I think I might pick up DMC3 and give the PS3 something to do.

Man this is really looking good when I first found out they were using this Nero guy instead of Dante I instantly didn't want it, but they've done a good job making the character more appealing.

Capcom are really doing a great job this gen. I even like the song they tossed in that was a surprise. This right now is looking better than Ninja Gaiden 2, but of course Ninja Gaiden 2 is pretty far off from release so just like there were many improvements to DMC4 I expect the same from that game.

I definitely recommend it Grift, despite Lebato's rather extreme position, its a quality game if you dont play it like a button masher. Once you've gained some skill with the weapon switching and the different styles, its a blast.

I've never been the type to take a rant at face value. I'm not going to assume it's the best action game ever either, but rather I'll try to go into it with reasonable expectations and come out with my own opinion. I'm sure I could probably track it down on the cheap now too.. There are loads of PS2 games I missed out on. I'm glad I have one of those special PS3's complete with BC :)

You dont just offer your opinion, which you are totally free to do, but you also bash the game. You called one of the finest action titles of the previous generation trash. That's gonna irk some people who liked it, and yet you are somehow surprised that people get upset with some of your comments.

Somewhere between these two points is the correct answer. You can go overboard (a general statement, not directed at you Lebato) but alternatively, people are FAR TOO SENSITIVE when it comes to their favorite games. I've gone down that path myself in the past, it's ugly and.. stupid.

Look, im not asking for everybody to love the games i like, i know that everyone has different tastes, and no game will ever satisfy everyone, I can deal if people have issues with certain aspects of a game. Im just asking for a little reason. Very few games are completely irredeemable, and just because you may not like it doesnt make it trash.

Yeah, I liked DMC3 too. Actually, liked it a bit more than I did NG. It was for a while my favorite action game, but that ended when I played(replayed) God Hand recently. Man that game is awesome(probably one of the few who think that :p). Really wish Capcom didn't disbanded Clover Studios, would have really liked to see a sequel. Anyway, really looking forward to getting to play DMC4, hopefully they won't make us wait too long to get our hands on it.

Just be lucky DMC made the 3rd person action genre great, and it is not famous for being trash, more like being great.

I saw some guy play DMC3 with Vergil on youtube and doing crazy combos I have ever seen, and that is just crazy!

I put my "ignore" radar on as soon as I know one of the people I have seen in past post a comment, just to be save.

I have seen Lebato "like" some games that I thought was cool so its all good. But sometimes, he puts his "evil face" on :P
