Whoa guys the graphics in this game aren't too bad at all... amazing stuff. I really love how nice the roads look and all the surrounding environments (don't forget how great the cars look). The controls are very arcade like very easy to control I hardly used the brakes. This demo was made back in october of last year so we can expect to see far greater things in final build like being able to see the drivers fly out of their cars when they are blown up. This game is so extremely fun it isn't even funny.

Everything really is fully destructible I purposely kept raising my crosshair up and would aim at buildings to the side shoot at them and they exploded and things began falling apart when my missiles hit em. There was somehing I hit with a missle and it was set on fire and when I came back around the track later on the thing was still on fire. I also really enjoyed how when I shot the top of the casino all this stuff came crashing down on the people ahead of me and that insane camera angle and the slowdown they show when you blow up a car is VERY nicely done.

The action is extremely fast paced and chaotic I seriously can't get over all the stuff taking place on screen simultaneously.

I knew the demo build was suppose to have problems, and as the fps drops as they are now were VERY minor nothing major at all I didn't notice any significant fps drops that disrupted the experience or prevented me from having fun with the game. Can people confirm that this is the same demo of the game that was released in that magazine?

Also that trailer at the beginning is really nice to look at. Very fun title can't wait for the final build glad I pre-ordered this bad boy.

This game is really fun to look at.

Okay before finishing up this post I tried some stuff and the more you destroy the more the fps can slow up, but it never lasts more than 2 seconds from what I see usually getting back up to full speed in no time this is such a minor thing considering this demo is from back in october they will have surely ironed out that stuff by now.


Also there was someone that mentioned you couldn't destroy civilian cars.... every civilian car I hit with a missle was blown up.

Really looking forward to this game.

this is how i summed it up in the marketplace thread: "ehm yeah how can i say this nicely:
Framerate is just bad, the whole sense of speed in the game is minimum and graphics are mediocre, not my type of game though..."

i've downloaded it just 2 hours ago, i've played it 10 minutes and i've had allot of problem with the game; I mean framerate = BAD and i mean REALLY BAD, hickups and framelag are all i'm getting, graphics themself aren't that bad i agree but the whole sense of speed is totally gone. Gameplay seems at a very shallow level wich sometimes is good but in this case it isn't....

ofcourse like i said this isn't my type of game but don't say the framerate isn't bad cause it is :D

This is definitely a rental for me though, it's such a shame they have all this awesome physics detail but you never really get to see it in action because it's so damn fast!

This game is soo not good.
Tried it 2 times today, it felt as if i was driving a cardbord box dressed up as a car with guns on it. The framerate was almost worse then Q4, and it felt as if the music itself didn't even know if it was music or some damn noice designed to hurt your ears badly. Graphics was OK, but nothing more than that. Gameplay IS shallow and the guns are lame (even thou the idea is quite good). Well i guess that sums up my experience of the game.
I feel that i should add that this is not my type of game, at all, but it doesn't change my opinion. This is the 360's first medioker/bad game.
Of course, this is just my opinion.

What are you talkings about... the framerate isn't as bad as you guys are saying.... something might seriously be wrong with your 360s :P

Seriously its running 98% of the time at a flawless 60fps I don't see how you guys are having all these amazing fps drops. You guys sure your 360s aren't too hot or something? Something has to be wrong cause i'm not getting such bad fps drops I'm having fun playing through it so far. Minor drops at best that only last like 2 seconds tops, but then back running flawless again.

It really is as if we are playing different games.


I like everything about it keep in mind is a demo from october and the racing isn't suppose to be simulation realism.. its all fake how high you can jump into the air how you can break through all that stuff. Its meant to just be flat out fun and it gets the job done.

What I don't get is how in god's name did the people that hate it right now find it interesting through all the gameplay movies and trailers??? It seems like you guys have been seeing all the gameplay movies and screens and trailers and now that you play it you don't like it?? It plays exactly as we've been seeing. Except this is a demo...

It just seems like people don't like what its about then why be interested in the first place through trailers? Is it graphics?, gameplay?, fps drops?, unrealistic? (its suppose to be unrealistic.)

That trailer is the third trailer from a later version of the game.


Seriously this is the best looking road i've ever seen the graphics are amazing man some people are LITERALLY overdoing it. It looks damn good.... definetly next gen looking.

Live distribution is what i'm playing. things seem cool, but I notice only minor fps drops none too serious. Probably there isn't enough shine on the cars, but it still looks great nothing much to complain about from me here other than minor fps drops

The finished version will work out the issues, but seriously the graphics I find stunning the texture on the street alone is impressive. Best looking road I've seen in any game.


Man you guys need to stop at a spot and just start shooting up buildings the extent to which you can damage this stuff is unbelievable.

well i was interested in this game cause the trailers and gameplay clips that i saw we're good looking and it seemed like an ok game.
As it turns out it's nothing more than an ok game with bad frame drops... but that's a personal opinion again

well,just played the demo and i find full auto quite disappointing.the gameplay is lame and graphics are not even current gen,seriusly...not to mention the frame rate drops.ok it's only a demo,but demos are here just to show us what a game has to offer and full auto is offering nothing ,at least to me.

You haven't played the game none of us have. We are playing the DEMO...... I on the otherhand have yet to experience a serious frame drop they are all minor from what I'm playing and I'm going crazy trying to force it to drop drastically and nothing as of yet.

I don't know why others are getting these terrible frame drops, but I doubt they'll be present in the final game. If the game is dropping in fps as bad as you guys say it is do you really think the developers would release such a game if it hasn't been fixed. This demo according to developers has been made since back in october.


There developers are no amateurs i'm almost confident this game will run without any issues, but there is nothing wrong with waiting to see if the final version lives up to the quality i'm saying it will have. Just wait till final and then you'll see I was right. I can't speak for everyone though so maybe people are infact getting bad frame drops.

I think I figured everyone's problem... what resolution are you guys playing at?? I JUST dropped my resolution down to 720p and it started to feel alot more choppy than before :) it appears the demo has unresolved issues with 720p from the way this feels. Then again this demo was made back in october. I was playing on 1360x768.


Anyway who cares its a demo its expected I think the 720p play for full auto demo is a bit screwed. When I play on 1360x768 it runs alot better for me and looks alot better, but 720p I begin to understand what people were complaining about, but either way these graphics still can't be called current gen... people playing on regular tvs?

Nevermind that its running smoothly with only minor fps drops at 720p now. Is anyone that is having fps issues have a close to full hard drive?

Also in response to people thinking the graphics suck at the very beginning of the race when they show you that path that leads you to casino? I notice for 1 second that it looks terrible graphically then it instantly fixes itself does this everytime for me. Is it not fixing graphically for you guys?

doom 3 and HL2 are current gen to me,and FA just seems old compared not only to them,but to PGR3 and NFSMW too hehe.i don't want to be a troll ,i love my 360,love Kameo,had fun with condemned and i'll get DOA..i'm sure i'll buy many great games in the near future but i find this one (the demo at least) just disappointing,i think this and fifa are the worst thing i've seen on my 360 :D

my resolution isn't as high as that optimus, and my harddrive isn't anywhere near it's capacity, it's just a crappy demo :D if i've got to change the settings of my 360 to get a demo running smoothly then there's something wrong with the demo.... I bought a console so i wouldn't be bothered by changing "system settings" everytime if get a new game (not that i have to on my pc but u get my point :D and that's not the only reason i bought an 360 :D)
