2006-04-01 05:26:22 Tomb Raider PC demo impressions

Any of you guys interested in Tomb Raider Legend should check out the PC demo that just got released today..it's quite good I think. Graphics aside (and they do look nice..Lara gets wet..heh) the gameplay is pretty solid--the demo includes a portion of a tomb level..the platforming is pretty intuitive and fun as is the action.

Oh yeah, it's also worth noting that while the kb+M controls for this game aren't perfect, I played through it with both kb+M and an S type and they both handle fairly well..so if you don't have a gamepad for your PC, I wouldn't much worry about it..though it would be nice for this title.

Just solid all around I think..maybe they'll release this demo for 360 soon as well?

I really enjoyed it, wish the next gen enhancement option was available in the demo, would have liked to see that. Still, looks damn good and the wet effect is a nice touch when you get out of the water.

Talked to a guy that has finished the full version, X360. Only 6 hours of playtime.
