I think its rude to bash the game when others like it and are looking forward to it, ruins its spirit for excitement.

You are invited to a party with a group of friends, and one of their friends have this friend along, and that friend is just saying "omg, his is so damn boring, when can we go"...etc. wouldn't you just say, can't you just leave us and enjoy the party, you are ruining it for everyone.

Thats the the best explaination I can give for some just march in, just say it looks this bad...etc. and and not carrying for the game at all, just because it didn't reach that persons expectations.

So, noone has ever rendered an opinion of a game you liked that irritated you, but you accepted nonetheless?

I already said all I ask is for a little reason in someone's post, I already said I can deal with the fact that someone may have issues with certain aspects of the game but compliment other aspects. This isnt about not accepting someone's opinion on a game, this is about going too far with the hyperbole. And it is that aspect that annoys me. I already said all this, and yet you chose to ignore it. Selective reading anyone?

That analogy of the party and the friends does not apply, NO. To explain in a simple manner. In a forum, you are here to discuss games, basically hear others' opinion--whatever they are. This forum--or ANY forum I'd say--is not a party.

In a party you are there to have fun, not to express your opinion on how boring the party is.

That irritated me? WHY? I may not agree with it, but there's no reason to be irritated by it. See that's the problem. Blim Blim said he found Bioshock boring after a while (or something along the lines), I don't agree at all, I love the game, perhaps the best this year thus far........I didn't even reply. Jin finds bikes in PGR4 to drive very awful, he hates them and all that. I love them, I think they work as good as cars. Who cares, I like it!!!

And I did complement other aspects, I wouldn't have posted otherwise. Read my first post again. My opinion is not a hyperbole, it's just my honest opinion. In that case, wouldn't that make your opinion a hyperbole considering you said DMC was one of the best action games last gen, wouldn't that be the same case but reversed? To me that's a huge exaggeration.

perhaps, except the reviews agree with me that it is ONE of the finest action titles of the previous gen. Whatever, like I said in one of my posts you chose to ignore, it is your opinion, as radical (IMHO) as it is. :)

Well I for don't go to threads were its about a game I don't like just to leave bad comments and expect feedbacks, it always goes nowhere and instead of making us friends, it makes us enemies.

I avoid those type of games, and keep my negative opinion for myself just for the sake of others who are looking forward to it.

But if I have a good thing to say about a game, I will say it.

DMC is a good game no doubting that, like it or not you cant call it bad/crap because well it's way above average on game terms

Now brute force is your average game not good yet not that bad

and snowblind ..thats a BAD game..
