Is there a way on our forums to enable editing at all times? Instead of the time out

It seems silly, but our population is as such that I wish I could just edit my post instead of continually replying to some threads

Sadly no. It's one of the rewards of the Patreon, but the main reason for the 5 minute editing time is that we don't want people to be able to delete the things they write, because then they won't even bother to think before posting. If someone decides to be disrespectful, they need to take responsibility. I guess our answer won't be satisfactory to you, but that's all we have. :(

That's too bad though. Generally in the forums where regulars are posting I feel like everyone's just having a good time
I can see the need for setting examples elsewhere however
