2007-06-17 13:43:56 Thing is, time consuming doesn't neccessarily = difficult, and in the end, everything is made from shapes. Using transparency and tone spheres you can do shadows and light pretty easily, and the arcs can be resized so they become pretty much lines from a pencil. --- |

2007-06-17 20:35:17 Frankenstein's monster looks awesome, the generic flames kinda ruin it. Try using the "tears" and layering different tints that you used to make the monster. |

2007-06-27 15:36:04 I didnt wanna fish out the other thread so I thought I would just ask here. I just got the official wheel and Im not quite sure if it is working properly. First of all I put the PGR disc in to install the drivers but no update came up. Now whenever I start a game of forza or dirt, the feedback seems really clunky and sorta jumps around a lot like its got mind of its own. It doesnt feel right at all. This stops if I pull the power cable out and then re-insert it. Does anyone have a clue whats going on here ? Im feeling rather pissed that I just spent a bit of money on this and it doesnt seem to be working properly. |

2007-06-27 17:59:25 Ok so further play and maybe I just aint used to force feedback. But can anyone with the wheel confirm if the wheel is supposed to make a lot of noise when FF is on ? It seems to jump about on its own everywhere and if someone could just tell me if thats what FF is meant to do that would be great. It makes steering in Dirt an absolute impossible nightmare. |

2007-06-27 18:00:44 Yea.. that's pretty much force feedback for ya. I've read that Dirt doesn't control very well without tweaking the wheel settings @ the menu. I'm not sure what the optimal settings would be, but I'm sure you could some more info on that somewhere. I haven't used my wheel much lately, mostly because I haven't been racing much. |

2007-06-27 18:06:00 It doesn't sound right to me, If it's not doing what you want i'd take it back anyway. --- |
