Really nice graphics. Especially as it's pulled off in such a grand scale. As usual i'm a bit worried about the gameplay though :P

It was as far as i could tell, think the fps dipped a bit every now and then and the environment used sprites for grass and had lowish/typical ingame brown muddy textures along with shadows flickering etc.

Yeah, but it was composed of in-game footage.

I desperately want this to do well. I've been waiting far too long for a great medieval fantasy game that contains epic battles. Viking: Battle for Asgard was okay, but didn't really come close.

Apparently this now has strong MMO elements? I hope that doesn't mean we have to pay for extra. I don't want to have to pay a fee on top of my Xbox Live subscription in order to play online.

KUF looked impossibly good on the old Xbox too really. I just hope they build properly on the gameplay of those for this one. Custom soundtracks over their DREADFUL korean death metal junk will make the whole thing easier to enjoy too.

It's more of an RTS game than a hack 'n' slash game. Also, it's going to be like KUF: Crusade, as opposed to KUF: COD.

That's the conclusion I've come to based on some Wiki research anyway. :P

Yeah but my experience of the old KuF games on xbox werte that they were to a pretty big part hack n slash. Sure there was strategy too but like said, a big part of it was relentlessly mashing attack.

Yeah this is supposedly a real sequel to the hack/slash RTS hybrid that had two entries on the Xbox; Crusaders and Heroes.

While the actual combat isn't as satisfying as Dynasty Warriors, the RTS elements weigh up things a great deal. The Xbox ones took ages to let you actually make real decisions as opposed to just following markers, and I get that it was a tutorial of sorts but I really hope this is structured better. I think a lot of people gave up on the first two because they were such backseat strategists.

This is supposed to be some sort of MMO hybrid if I'm not mistaken. That put me off it a bit to be honest.

Looks really insane but I think those shots are taken from the Pc version, so let's see how it will hold up on the Xbox.
I agree with the most part of you that it is nice for this new entry to go back to saga's route (I really enjoyed The Crusaders, it is gorgeous). As for COD IMO it wasn't such a bad game. If you find a couple of friends to play with in the coop. I really enjoyed it and I missed an offline coop mode.
I hope Phantagram release it before the end of the year, I'll cross my fingers!

Last time I checked, KUF2 was also for PS3, making it 3 platforms.

Anyways, I love these ancient time settings or fantasy war games, even if it has stradegy in it, as long as there is real-time movements and combat I am all for it.

I agree. The engine is quite something. mixing some vivid colors would have been nice. I think Ninety Nine Nights 2 will satisfy in that department.

Kingdom Under Fire II for Xbox 360 will differentiate itself from the PC Online version in that there will be more focus on the single player aspect as for players to unveil the secrecy of Bersian history as putting themselves on shoes of heroes and reunite the scattered nations in deep and rich storyline. Addition of mind-blowing scale of Castle Siege battle and the conventional Action RTS Multiplayer mode via Xbox Live, Xbox 360 version of Kingdom Under Fire II being co-developed by Blueside and Phantagram
Sounds like the 360 version will be different than the PC version. Makes sense - there's no way 360 can display the visuals in some of these screens and videos.
