Runs like absolute shit on my computer. Furious. I can run MANY other games that are years ahead of this game in the graphics department.

Yeah, that is shitty indeed. Then again this ntire game feels a bit ho-hum in my opinion. The world is realy generic (after 20 hours i think i'm entitled to the opinion), the combat is boring because of the pushover enemies that just get wussier over time, the story is really dull and lacking in originality and the graphics are not too impressive either.

You just seem to get super OP after a few levelups. Not to mention some of the skills to level up are pretty much abysmal while others just make you pwn the shit out o everything. Like smithing. I have yet to find a weapon/armor even close to the shit i make myself. Loot gets pointless and i only grab it to break it down for components. Now compare that to, let's say the charisma thingy (can't remember what they cal it) that barely gives you anything. Yeah, totally worth spending points there instead of in smithing and sage craft.

After a certain level you can get the smoke bomb as a rougue as well...totally imba. Bam, you are invis for 10 seconds. There you go, 2 free stealth kills and a crit combo. Enjoy. If the enemies are still hard to beat, just kite them for a few seconds until the cooldown wears off. I imagine the other classes have the exact same problem.

They need to make the enemies tougher, and i don't just mean more HP. Make them block more, make them stagger less and mabe have them counter your spam or something. I mean if i'm up against a troll i just need to whail on that fucker untill he's dead, because i just stagger it over and over.

I wasn't expecting anything else, but i don't udnerstand what's so great about the game. The combat could be fun if the balancing wasn't so off, but the world, story and characters are just a big huge "meh".

I have been playing many hours now and am a pure finesse rogue type with level 24.

I love the game but there is one thing that bothers and I dont know how long I can keep this up, though its something I knew from the start.
World is empty.
It feels like offline MMORPG, a testrun, or you go online and you are the only person on that server.

Thing I do understand that the devs was doing a MMORPG at first and then they wanted a publisher so they can get their game out. But they wanted a single player to draw players in to the universe first and then introduce the MMORPG.
Problem is, they didnt really think this through.

The world doesnt feel like a proper single player RPG at all. They just slapped some story and called it a day so we can get into the universe.
They shouldnt have done that. Thats why the world is so BORING, so empty and so lifeless.
Is it beautiful? yes, its very vibrant, colorful, bright, and VERY huge. You can easily get sidetracked from your quests and get tempted to do and go other places.

Combat is very fun IMO I am really enjoying it from any other action RPG game I played (fantasy based of course), its simple, with very good hit detection, proper feedback, its stylish and colorful and its simple get use to it. Its basically Fable but more polished IMO, which I like.

Higher enemies like having 4 trolls and distance bow bandits is really tough to take out, alot of timed parries and dodges, sometimes close to death if not careful. Enemies that are around your level or higher will get the best of you, especially agile demons that comes in groups, very tough enemies, but not hard to deal with them.

I am enjoying the game and I definitely going to finish it (picked up alot of sidequests), but when I am running alone with static looking environments it doesnt feel like I am a part of it, it starts to wear my mood and patience down to boredom were I just dont want to continue to explore.
I do hope if they do make a next single player game, they actually start thinking of making a proper, immersive and real world instead of a offline MMORPG solo play. By immersive I mean have various hunters, NPCs, wild life, random events...etc. happen. Like Red Dead Redemption, Skyrim...etc. something other than groups of enemies in a spot just marching a zone for no reason at all.
Sure there are camps and bandits looting stuff but its not enough!

Those who have said the samething about this subject, I have never disagreed with them, because its true, its boring since the first videos. Only thing that kept me interested was the various ways of the combat and how it was made for an action RPG.
Though I like everything else though, so far.
And yes, story is really boring, same goes to the characters. I never cared for them. Music is bad too, that part, Skyrim REALLY REALLY spoiled me lol.

But tbh, I am more excited to fully play Witcher 2 on Xbox 360 when it comes out and hopefully Dragon's Dogma if that turns out well. But for now, Amalur will do and probably start doing the main quest considering I never continued since the tutorial.

I do agree with you, they need to make enemies more harder, fight back with various attacks and defenses. Now I havent fought any knight type of resistance enemies, unless guards count (which I had some fun fighting with, they are tough for sure) but not enemies that really makes you be on your toes.
Except those pink demons with bladed arms, they are nasty and come in groups, like 3-4 of them.
Even the assassin/rogue types are easy, aint as agile or have enough moves to put up with a challenge.

I agree with you on some points after spending hours of playing the full game.
Well, This is their first game, all we can do is hope for them to improve it for the sequal and learn from their mistakes, thats all we can do really.
Some things I was aware of by following it, such as the world, but still, I only predicted it from the videos and little of the timed demo, but so far...its good and a little bit boring.

I am gonna take a break from it and get some Darkness 2 playtime since I havent played it since I got it so I am excited for that hehe.
