Here comes promises of new games announcements at Microsoft's X10 event

What kind of new games do you expect we're getting ? ALL natal ?? What are you predictions ?

Call me crazy but I am irrationally hoping for Blue Dragon 2 or Lost Odyssey 2 :D

Nothing major from this one, mostly casual games is my guess for the new titles, and some Natal news.

But i do wonder why they are putting this event on? i mean there are so many game related confs these days i thought that would be enough to showcase anything they wanted to, not that i'm complaining mind you as hopefully i get to see some New Halo Reach footage from this.

No Jap game announcements until TGS is also my guess sorry Alimo.

**sigh** I was hoping someone would be as crazy as I am ;)

I think the reason they are doing this before E3 is probably to strike first and my guess is there will probably be some big announcements.

There was talk recently by Square Enix of releasing the cut FF13 content as DLC... I think you see where I am going with this. if that's announced as Exclusive PRIOR to FF13 hitting the west, there could be some shift in which versions people would buy

I am also expecting a price cut out of the conference. The PS3 is selling as much as the 360 in the US for a couple of months now. Sure the 360 has about 8-9 millions lead over there but they are loosing out in other territories. I think a price cut is def a near announcement.

Sakaguchi isn't working on anything besides tls, so no bd2 or lo2. Itagaki's new game might be shown, that is if the game is for xbox anyway.

A price cut sounds very unlikely to me. They had one a few months ago and it seems more likely that the next "price cut" will simply be a bundle with Natal with a game (similar to what Nintendo has done with the Wii) without raising the price. They'll also announce the final product name.

Games would be everything Natal enabled set for a launch day release. The only games I'm looking forward to are the XBLA games from Twisted Pixel and 5th Cell, not sure if they'll show them this early though. Imo, XBLA is a perfect platform for Natal, I doubt full price games will have much of a chance until it gains acceptance in the lower price segment.

He has other projects in development, the last story is simply, as of now, the most important one and the one he's concentrated on the most.

That'd be brutal. The people I know who are casual gamers don't even follow events like this. All of their gaming info comes from commercials on tv or ads in non-gaming magazines.

Well, I imagine they are ready to show us exactly why Natal should be taken as seriously as a new console launch, because, basically, that is how they've been advertising the thing.

PGR5 would be nice but I think MS gave up on that amazing series of games

Gears 3 would be interesting but it would be a huge waste to release that along Halo Reach so I'm guessing they will save that for 2011 or the next gen xbox.

I'd still LOVE to see Rare announce a new Killer Instinct but I doubt that game is ever gonna happen for some reason.

More than anything I just REALLY want a new Rainbow Six game with a new graphics engine and a new location. Terrorist Hunt = Heaven IMO.

I'm guessing a Rare game for Natal is a pretty safe bet though, or just new Natal info in general.

My biggest hope by far is a nice detailed gameplay video for Reach.

Yeah, and turn10 developing those games isn't going to get me excited either. They'll probably re-use all their car models from forza 3 over to pgr5.

I share your faith in LO2 alimo, but not so much BD2

I am hoping for Grim Fandango 2 using natal to control manny through his adventure, I hate the sound of natal.. but that would make me get it :)

Rare making Kameo 2 again would be nice and/or Grabbed by the Ghoulies 2

Taking SEGA up on there offer to Sony for Shenmue 3 and bringing 1 and 2 to arcade

Capcom announcing dino crisis 4 using a tweaked R5 engine (move and shoot..) and steel battalion 3, rival schools vs street fighter and a remake of resident evil 2.

MS won't announce big games for this fall at E3 because that doesn't give the retail buyers and hype machine enough time to build up. When E3 was in May, it was feasible to blow out then. Now it's in July, it isn't.

Essentially this event will be to flesh out 2010's line up and build hype for Natal both for the long term and for GDC (where they need to get devs on board).

I imagine Sony will be doing similar stuff for games they've yet to announce for this year. Resistance 3 is likely to be "out there" before E3, for example.

Shen Mue 3 would make my year, but I'm not holding my breath. A DICE developed RS3 would be awesome, but yeah right. At the end of the day, I would be happy with some Natal stuff, and some Halo Reach gameplay...
