Well Op, fans of the NG games want more than what we have been given.
We played NG and NG Black, and they adding "small" additions is just nonsense, then why make a sequal, might as well call it Ninja Gaiden: *insert name* without the 2 being there.

I for one expect quite a lot, I can't say what, but I can say for a sequal to one of the best action games out there, and from one of the most trash talking dev out there, I expect something great even considering he is doing this now on a next-gen console.

Hopefully with the new art design he talked about he really delivers, which I dont have a doubt that he will.

Why do you expect it to have lots of additions Sath? if you look at most sequels out they very rarely have lots of additions, its mostly better looking graphics and a few new features and characters better AI ect.. it sounds like your expecting some massive changes and your not gonna get them in this game.

Hell, just look at DOA and how groundbreaking those sequels are. :/

I expect an incremental upgrade, or evolutionary upgrade over NG. But I still expect it will be awesome. Itagaki talks a lot of shit about other fighting games too--never made DOA the best. That said, NG is already on pretty solid ground.. so why wouldn't the sequel be. It's been long enough.

Well DC for someone who keeps bashing other 3rd action games like DMC4 and Heavenly Sword, he seems to have ANOTHER bad ass game in making, so wouldn't you expect something bad ass out of someone who talks like one.

Well he did say a new art direction so I am waiting to see what that is, and it is a sequal. I said I expect a lot of things, I didn't say I want this and that, I just expect another Ninja Gaiden game from scratch that is a sequal.

Well I know Itagaki wanted to do a lot of cool stuff on the original Ninja Gaiden on Xbox but he couldn't because of the limitation, so I HOPE that he can do ALL the things he wants with a Next-Gen Ninja Gaiden this time.

I just want another bad ass Ninja Gaiden game that doesn't look like some expansion, like GRAW to GRAW 2.

He always bad mouths stuff thats his style, he was bad mouthing stuff before his last DOA game came out and that was also much the same with a few new additions.

So dont expect groundbreaking changes from NG2.

Well I dont expect groundbreaking stuff...I expect something different from a "master" and considering its a sequal he knows how to do so.

I guess we all have to wait and see.

But the reason why Itagaki is trash talking the competion is because NG is his studio's best game. So if he didnt have any confidence in his best franchise he might aswell go on a early retirement.
