Ninja Gaiden is the premiere game in the genre, Making Ninja Gaiden 2 better will be quite the feat.

I wonder what he has in store.

I'm sure some people will be disappointed with the graphics when they see it, but I'll take whatever they dish out because the game should own :D

Oh for sure. People have been huge babies this gen when it comes to graphics, and that's not going to change anytime soon.

In terms of story, NG doesn't need a good one(or really any one) to be a great game, but it would be nice if there was a coherent story there...and preferably told in a Western(read "sensical") way. One can dream.. :P

More dismemberment would be acceptable also. :D

ninja gaiden owned all games on the xbox when it came to graphics and gameplay! it was the whole package so I dont think we should expect less of Itagaki. I, personally, thought that for its art direction, DOA4 looks Brilliant for a launch title.

Well it could do well with more reasons to actually enjoy being Ryu Hayabusa. He's really just "any" stuffy ninja in a rubber suit. Even Hotsuma had some kind of passion and direction in Shinobi.

What he meant to say,was that "Nobody will make a game like mine,because nobody knows how to make an insanely hard difficulty setting like I do!" lol.Ninja Gaiden was great and I love Team Ninja`s work,but lets just hope that any future games from them contain some depth (unlike DOA beach volleyball).

I don't think there's a title that owns all other games in both graphics and gameplay. My favourite Xbox game would probably be still Halo 1, when it comes to graphics probably Conker and the last Oddworld game.

I think Ninja Gaiden is a great game, I finished Black on hard mode and most missions from Mission Mode too, but I think I had better time with many other Xbox games. That's why I always react to "Ninja Gaiden owned every other Xbox game", mainly because people often don't know Xbox library that well and they newer played Oddworld, Smilebit's games, Psychonauts, Conker and so on. Heck, I even don't think Otogi is that far behind Ninja Gaiden (not graphically) - it definitely didn't have as deep and engaging gameplay, but I liked story and environmental destructibility.

much prefare both god of war and devil may cry, ninja gaiden although good never really gripped me. it was a challenge 'n' half, but i didnt like the character, the setting, the enemies. it doesnt help that devil may cry has a cool as hell character and god of war has not only a cool as hell character but an AWESOME setting and story. unlike most, i dont think ninjas are all that

Also.. Riddick, Chaos Theory, and the amazingly good port of Doom 3.. and a bunch of others I'm sure.

Ninja Gaiden did have awesome graphics though. And 60fps too.

NG did have some of the best graphics last generation, I can't argue if someone says they were the best. I think they are actually. Everything had a very high standard.

Riddick looked amazing but had massive aliasing problems. Chaos Theory look incredible too, but had some drops in framerate. Doom 3 had some very low res textures in many places.

But I wouldn't argue if anyone chooses those. My cousin was playing Doom 3 the other day and I looks better than many 360 games. Conker should be on the list too.

I don't know about Phantom Dust though, WTH? IMO that one doesn't fit in the category at all.

and what are people talking about NG not having a story.the story of ninja on quest to avenge his clan family . not well told but it was there, had few suprises at the end
