And the Sakura patels might have something to do with Kasumi? it is her iconic thing, but I doubt it.

His default outfit is getting boring to me, ALOT.

Thank god for various outfit designs now, even though some of the GOOD old ones are back.

By the way, Tecmo confirmed that the demo will be released in 2 weeks, meaning one week before the US version comes out, also, TGS begins around 2 weeks :D

No I understand , any fan of their game would do the samething, nothing wrong with that :)

NGS2 is getting much more attention and more good treatment than NG2 did before release (not that NG2 didnt do those as well, but I dont remember it being this good).

Right now Tecmo is on tour in England, Sweden, Spain and probably other places showing off the game, giving away swags, doing competitions...etc.

Gonna do a very short and simple pros and cons.

Pros:
- Combat and speed is the same
- Enma Fang (new weapon) is AWESOME, a mix of Dabihlaro and Dark Dragon Blade from NG1.
- You can now have both regular shuriken and a REAL primary weapon, like the bow and arrow at the same time. You can do combos in the air if you use bow first, shuriken later, very cool.
- Visuals looks terrific, native 720p, runs 60fps *most of the time*
- Ayane is fast and awesome, doesnt have very specific moves...she is more "free" within her attacks, and her kunai are awesome.
- Bow and arrow are UNLIMITED...I dont know about Incendiary Shurikens because they are not in the demo.
- Team Mission is awesome, once you play with a friend (demo is OFFLINE only with Ryu and Ayane playable...yes both can be Ryu :D).
- Red ninjas only shows up on Mentor and Master Ninja difficulty (once you unlock them). They do NOT spamm IS anymore! They throw ONE at you every 10 or so seconds, this was one of the biggest issues on NG2, and they fixed it...atleast from the demo.

Cons:
- *Somtimes* the framerate slows down but its very rare. Before fighting the Buddah it slows down quite much, but then picks up speed again when the enemies are dead and Buddah shows up.
- Screentearing, NG Sigma had it sometimes, this one is no different.
- The loading can be a pain at times.
- Mission Mode levels are based on difficulty. Meaning if you want to play on the hardest difficulty or whatever on a specific level you like, you can't, atleast not in the demo.

Problems like framerate and screentearing seems to be MUCH better in the final built, which this is not, according to Cyberevil at Ninja Fortress.
Atleast I hope he is right, but right now its not THAT bad, but its certainly not good either.

Anyway, I am having tons of fun, especially when I haven't played NG2 for many many months now.

Ps. Ayane's music is fantastic, love it!
Gonna rip her music track without SFX, samething goes to the Buddah boss ;)

i actually really enjoyed the demo, easy mode genuinely seems easy this time around. more accessible and more "fun". the new camera is far better too. everything just seems more polished...only thing missing is copious amounts of the red stuff, but that isnt technically a bad thing

I tried the demo today. I liked it but some of the changes were a bit strange.

You can't seem to charge the bow anymore. Too bad I liked to use it against the rocket launcher dudes. Also after trying a bit mentor I noticed the game doesn't have nearly as much rocket launcher enemies in the first level. I am pretty sure I didn't see any of those enemies firing multiple rockets either.

I am not sure if this can be changed from the options but default key to pick things up is O. So I am spamming those shurikens like crazy when trying to open chests like in NGB :/ Why not use the button as in NG2.

Also that life of the thousand gods item is used instantly when picked up :S So my extra health potion is gone for though fights :p

Izunadrop doesn't kill the normal units. Like the machine gun and redninja dudes. In NG2 when you do izunadrop at mentor the dude dies, in this he just jumps back up :/

No more IS spamming is cool. I didn't have problems with it at NG2 in normal fights but boss plus that IS spamming was just totally stupid.

I Still need to try the full game to decide which version of the NG2 is better.

Edit: The new sword was awesome!

Wow, Sath, the game IS getting great reviews. I've never felt much for this series but my new neighbour is getting all ecstatic about this iteration to PS3. maybe he's in love with Momiji or something... guy talks about her all the time when we talk of NG on the whole.

Seems like she has the same spell on him as Zafina from Tekken-6 has one upon me :)

How Master chief outfit went to Fable 2 is stupid...or? its just a fanservice outfit, or just Koei wanted to promoote one of their characters in NGS2 sameway Ryu being in the new DW game.

Yeah alot of problems you are saying is what most of us have said, but the regular ninjas takes atleast 4 hits, minimum being sometimes 1.
Izuna drop is definitely 1 on them, maximum 2.
With red ninjas, too much health and I hate it, but there is a way, spam Izuna drop, or use Kusari Gama and press SQUARE>TRIANGLE and he will grab the enemy from a distance and pull them in and decapitate one of their limbs and then go near and OT them, easy.
But atleast the IS spamming is gone though, but as a trade off they gave them alot of health.

This demo is from may or something, old built so there might be some changes for sure, minimal.
