Great game!

Plays very similar to Sensi soccer. try passing the ball into the net using A for proof.
I can't give it a better recommandation then that.

Yes this thing is truly awesome... you realize from the moment I got it I played it over and over and over with my cousin?

Man the gameplay is just solid. My only complaint is that they work on the cutscenes for the next iteration if they aren't fixed in the final version of the game, but man this game should be a big hit once soccer fans get their hands on this.

Seemed fine to me Lebato.
I have to agree the defenders do seem very slooooww. but maybe that is just to give attckers the advantage (not sure)?

Also played it at world class and didn't notice much difference, still won :)

Defenders didn't seem too slow to me. I mean I never had trouble defending nor did they ever have trouble defending me.

Ronaldinho if he gets a good lane is extremely fast though (which is realistic) I think if anything it promotes good defense. Some attackers are REALLY fast some are average. Some defenders are REALLY fast some are average seems balanced to me.

lol you can slide to steal the ball I've done it many times, but the way I steal the ball usually is by pressing y. You do the typical aggressive pushes that allow them to lose their footing on the ball and the ball will wonder off by itself sometimes till you go get it. I'm sure you've watched soccer and seen the push offs that take place constantly. I steal using y and it works all the time if you line up the guy with the ball nicely.

I think it has pes beat and is much more realistic, but you're opinion isn't wrong either since its your opinion of the game.

I was just playing the game right now, and I just don't think it feels right. There's something wrong, and I'm sure a reviewer will do a better job at describing what the problem is. I've also seen way too many bicycle kicks and way too many balls hitting the post........when players in Winning Eleven do a bicycle kick is a rare, and exciting event......in Fifa it happens so often it's not exciting anymore.

As I play more, more faults start to come up. I'll wait for PES6.

Fifa 07 is not that bad, it still is an improvement over last year's, but there's something on the way almost guaranteed to be better, much better.

EDIT: Not a pain to cover cristiano ronaldo? He's difficult to cover in real life, but damn, in this game he just runs and no one will catch him. You get a defender infront of him and he moves an inch to a side and you are out, that's the unrealistic part, he's not even doing any dribbling.

I was just playing the game right now, and I just don't think it feels right.  There's something wrong, and I'm sure a reviewer will do a better job at describing what the problem is. I don't know I always seem to put a stop to his runs I just get in his way and hit y to get the ball away from him.

Well to be honest.. as in world cup soccer its usually the MOST basic of dribbling moves like a simple tap of the ball to the left or right that loses a defender its just all about how its executed or setup. Try going up to a defender slow down then tap right analog in a specific direction you'll quickly kick the ball to a specific side then aggressively go after it.

The more I play the game the more I actually seem to like it because I get use to the game even more and it flows better and better as I go along. I think I know the issue you're experiencing with this game. They are extremely strict on the game's animations. Look at their footwork as they handle the ball thats amazingly realistic pay attention to when you get the pass over to a teammate pay attention he will not do what you want him to do unless his animation when he does is is realistic. The way they receive a pass then transition their animation when they go to pass it to another player is just awesome. The issue here I think with you is that you may want the animations of the players to go much faster and then may help the game flow better for you. Hard to explain as you said, but I love this thing it just looks very convincing to me. I saw 1 bicycle kick tops thus far.

I loved the FIFA07 démo, incredible graphics, sound ambiance is awesome, good gameplay. As usual i'll buy that FIFA.

Now waiting for a PES6 demo :)

NBA 2K7 has great animation too, but fifa 07 definitely has it beat because there is absolutely no sliding animations going on its all perfect. Initially I thought ahhh if ball is close to out of bounds and you run towards it its definitely going out, but this game you can tell your player what to do before he even reaches the ball.

All I do is a just tap in the direction I want my player to move the ball to avoid going out of bounds and he does it properly aware of the out of bounds area. One thing I'll be looking at in pes is if the players slow down properly like in fifa as opposed to running full force then being able to instantly stop ignoring that they need to be slowing down properly. Man this animation system is spoiling me man.. imagine what Assassin's Creed will be like. Basically PES is a REALLY good soccer game and quite possibly the better of the 2 for that high speed intense gameplay, but as far as realism I think fifa has me currently :D I absolutely love how complicated it is to get your shots to go where you want if you aren't positioned well enough.

The biggest reason why I love fifa (so many, but I think this might be it) is lets say you kick the ball hard towards the goal and the goalie blocks it naturally it bounces back somewhere but if its still close the goal and in danger of going in the back of the net I'll try these desperation turnaround kicks in an attempt to capitalize, but it properly takes into consideration I'm out of position and my character will realistically fall over from attempting such a shot :) EA wasn't kidding when they said they were working on this animation system for years.

80 $ Gold Membership 12 Months
130 $ Netgear Wireless Router
100 $ Wireless Adapter Xbox 360

I have broadband with 8 Mbit Download/1mbit Upload. Is it enough ?
Do I need all these things I wrote and are they worth the price ?
Can I play on the 360 meanwhile my brother is surfing on the net without lag ?
Do I have to keep my original modem eventhough I will buy a wireless router ?

The weird thing in that demo too is the total lack of commentary sound...i hope there will be some in the retail version.

Really dissapointed by the Xbox demo. PC demo was really good and I really enjoyed it but this was a proper let down. It's slow, feels clunky and although looks pretty just doesn't do it for me. Shame cause I really was gonna consider getting this and would of if it had played like th PC version... Oh well.. when's the PES demo out?
