So far the MP has been a mixed bag. I've gotten to the point where I'm familiar enough to hold my own pretty well, but the main problem is there's not much strategy. Sure there's tactical advantages to where you strike from, but since weapon drops are completely random you have no real idea what power weapon is going to be where. More important is the fact that - I don't know what these Sony programmers are doing, but there should be no chance two players can kill each at the same time. Killzone 2 had this same problem. It happens in some games, but its so rare its more humorous than annoying. I do enjoy using this to my advantage when I know I'm dead in a fight, but c'mon. Especially when both players have Sniper Rifles. The worst part of this game's MP is the fact that the better players keep getting better. As if just experience playing the game wasn't enough, the boosters the higher players get are ridiculous. There's one that increases your clip capacity. Did ND even think this through? A Level 5 player who's a noob already versus a Level 30 player will get decimated, not only that but his teammate will get blown away too because the 30 didn't even need to reload! Accuracy is even improved for higher level players. C'mon.

So yeah, I'm having fun with the game, but its fun you have to earn. I do like the feel of it as a TPS. It feels very real, not necessarily realistic. My only real gripe despite those I mentioned is the fact that no one on PSN has a mic. This paid off for MS immensely including a standard jack as well as a headset in every box. Dropping $30 on a bluetooth that bites your ear isn't really ideal, but the alternative is what we end up with. I'll be playing more of the demo assuredly, but by the time this releases I see myself being more or less worn out. I'll probably stick with the co-op objectives in the full game, but that's more or less likely the main draw full MP will bring.

and about the mic: Most people that do have em are acting like either kids or freaking jerks, luckily the mute button is not far from reach...
