I love how Infinity Ward made it all. They normal mapped everything to death, they aren't obsessed with geometry I agree, but what we get for it is just incredible - 60fps, awesome animation (for the first time in Call of Duty), incredible amount of particles (explosions, rain, sparks, dust etc.) and constant action. I'm still not sold on the game, but I imagine COD fans are going crazy over it.

CoD4 looks super intense. The graphics seem very smooth. Some parts look pretty flat, but other parts (dark scenes or in direct sunlight and those with a lot of light sources/explosions and particles) look amazing.

The MP with custom classes and perks sounds very cool, almost like a realtime RPG. I have never been a really big CoD fan (appreciate the quality, just never clicked with me) but this is starting to win me over. This game wasn't on my radar 3 months ago and now it is one of the few games on my "very interested" list.

I rewatched the E3 presentation video and is it only me or are textures really looking good? Just look at fabric on gloves, or at trees or walls. That's a bit surprising.

I just hope there's a public beta on the PC too. I also hope the PC engine is more well optimized for DX9 performance than COD2 was.

Looks amazing, wondering if I should get this for PC because I guess it'll be more uhm, I get a mouse lol? Oh and multiplayer will be better. It will also obviously be cheaper (which pisses me off, why the fuck are multiplatform games always cheaper on PC?!)...
But all my friends will be playing the 360 version ... ah
oh and mods..

What I don't understand by these videos, how do they move they're crosshair so smoothly with a 360 controller? It's like they're playing with a mouse...

I wonder what performance is like on PC... IW's games always ran smooth on not so hot hardware (the're similar to Valve and Blizzard in that regard), but you never know.

My thoughts... I loved Halo1, Halo2 left me wanting... My Xbox and my 360 have gotten to know the Tom Clancy titles very well... Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon series. So I'm a big fan of these types of FPSs. I have to tell ya... I'm looking more forward to this, I think than Halo3. This is a must buy. Please oh, please Infinity Ward don't screw up the mulitplayer LIVE lobby experience like COD2. COD2 at least redeemed itself by having one of the best single player campaigns I've played... at least in my Top 5. This video gets me really excited for the game. My only reservations are, shooting through walls will become a joke & you won't be able to turn it off or on in host settings on LIVE, and the Lobby system. Other than that, those are my only concerns. Infinity ward has proven they can do the graphics and single player campaign... mutiplayer worries me. Hopefully the BETA will benefit them and me greatly.
