Needless to say that the release of Portal 2 was highly anticipated. When Valve launches a game, it is always a big deal for the fans, so when it's the sequel of such a fantastic game as Portal, we have every reason to be impatient. Gamersyde could not miss the opportunity to show you some videos of the game, even if for that we had to go buy our own copy at the store. Since we are smart, we chose the PS3 version to get the PC version for free (great idea Valve!). So, to begin with, here are the first 10 minutes of the PC version in full HD (1080p) and 60 fps. More videos will come, including extracts from the PS3 version. Stay tuned and until then, enjoy all the game's humor in this first video! Update 3: Third part of the first 10 minutes of the PC version now up.

Since we are still waiting for EA to send us our copies of Crysis 2 and SHIFT 2, it is very unlikely we can count on the publisher to get us our copy of Portal 2 in time for the game's release. Well, we'll probably end up buying the game ourselves, unless our good retailer friend decides to give us a hand once again. In the meantime, here are a few more images for you guys.

@Sdarts: Heat is a barrier both for PC and consoles. We succeed in making things smaller, but it's the heat barrier that has to be overcome. (1 Hour ago)
@Sdarts: there needs to be a breakthrough in transistors before a huge next step will be possible. The next consoles will not have the power of a gtx980ti simply because of heat problems. (1 Hour ago)
ThouThough only a few people would be able to run it, even among PC gamers, which is not viable financially. Hence why I'm thinking of the next generation of consoles. (1 Hour ago)
@alimokrane: Yes, but I meant that even now PC can do so much more. If an amateur can do that much with an injector in 7 days, you can bet DICE can do 10 times better with the source code, engine, etc (1 Hour ago)
@Sdarts: Of course you can do more with more powerful hardware. (1 Hour ago)
But at the end of the day, that's not feasible. Consoles is where the vast majority of sales are, so first we need more powerful consoles, which in turn will drive PC titles' technologies forward. (2 Hours ago)
@droezelke: Crysis 3 will be a 3 years old game in February next year, and it's still one of the best - if not the best - looking games. I agree AAA companies could do much more with PC titles. (2 Hours ago)
