Our videos of Borderlands 2 - 360

Here are a few videos of the 360 version of Borderlands 2, which will allow you to compare the console version to its PC counterpart. As you will see, cel shading is a good way to get nice graphics on our good old consoles.

September on Gamersyde

When we told you that September was going to be pretty busy for us, we weren't even close. With the flood of titles released this month, it was hard not to find something you liked, so chances are that sportsmen and lovers of beautiful curves - double meaning - alike all found the perfect match - again, double meaning. Our coverage of TGS probably managed to reassure the Playstation Vita owners among you, if our great videos from LittleBigPlanet Vita were not enough. In short, if you missed anything in the last 30 days, there's plenty to do while waiting for everything October has to offer.

Our PC videos of Borderlands 2

Borderlands 2 is undoubtedly the game of the month for all loot lovers so Gamersyde wanted to pay tribute to Gearbox Software's new game. What better way to do so than to use Miguel's rig to capture some high quality videos in 1080p and 60fps, with graphics and PhysX maxed out. We've also took the liberty of adding a bunch of pictures we took on Pandora so you can all admire the splendid cel shaded look of the game. Enjoy!

Borderlands 2 launch trailer

Many are eagerly waiting for the release of Borderlands 2, tomorrow in North America and at the end of the week in Europe. We should be able to propose gameplay footage of the PC version in all its 1080p/60fps glory, but you may have to be a bit patient since the game will only be unlocked on Friday for us. Until then, here is the launch trailer of this cel shaded sequel.

What Summer was like on Gamersyde

That's it, the summer break is now over, and though we managed to bring quite a lot of content in the past two months, you should of course expect a lot more in September. Our small team is as motivated as ever, so you should see a good number of videos of highly-anticipated games such as Borderlands 2 or Fifa 13 or PES 2013, but we'll also cover more modest titles, like Of Orcs and Men, whose graphics seem rather impressive to us considering it's not a AAA game, or The testament of Sherlock Holmes, which could appeal to adventure enthusiasts. If I can find some time to translate both articles, we'll also have a full hands-on preview of Harold, Moon Spider's very first game, as well as the interview of Loris Malek, the studio's president. Lots of stuff as I was saying, to thank you for your support and confidence.
