Backwards compatibility: An interesting video

RAZurrection sent me this very interesting video showing some non officially compatible Xbox games running on Xbox 360, with more or less bugs. His method was simple, simply trying the OXM demo discs who all launch directly. Looking at this, I'd say the compatibility list could be much larger very quickly.

Videos off all DOAU levels

Raiden must be crazy or something, he just uploaded these 21 videos of Dead or Alive Ultimate, each presenting one level of the game and unlockable costumes. Great work !

Ingame DOAU videos

Raiden just sent me these 5 videos of Dead or Alive Ultimate. As usual they are very nice looking, but since they were captured in PAL50 mode they are much slower than what the game should be. So enjoy this "natural" slow replay mode and use it to admire the incredible graphics.

15 Dead or Alive Ultimate images

This should be (hopefully) the last series of images of Dead or Alive Ultimate, since the game will be released tomorrow in the US and next week in Asia. So enjoy these images :)

Dead or Alive Ultimate videos

I went to a local games show this week end and did a few videos of upcoming games. Let's start with Dead or Alive Ultimate, with one video presenting the portage of the Saturn version of DOA1, and the other mostly dealing with all the custumes and arenas (and some fighting) of DOA2's remake.

Even more DOAU scans

Here are a few new scans of Dead or Alive Ultimate, hopefully this should be one of the last few I should ever post, with the game now being released at the end of month.

It's THAT time of the month again ! Here are the scans of the latest Famitsu Xbox, for one of the last times certainly. Some new costumes, 2 new levels and a recap of all very impressive 22 levels.

TGS : Dead or Alive Ultimate videos

The korean site ruliweb put online three videos of Dead or Alive Ultimate from the TGS quite a few hours ago. As always with that site download is next to impossible (15 hours for 100 Mbytes with a modified download manager), so I'm hosting these videos, reencoded to Xvid if necessary.
Update : All videos are now online, in their original MPG format. I'll reencode them to XVID tomorrow if there is demand for smaller versions.

What's up?
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer @blmbox: what did they give the PC version? Game is great compared to ME and KOTOR, 12 hours in (2 minutes ago)
  • Ishigami
Ishigami There is no doubt that the console versions are infioir in every aspect. If you have a good PC do yourself a favor and get it for PC, as simple as that. (6 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX but it's a good thing.. there's a good console port (by most accounts) and there are fewer and fewer hardcore PC RPG's anymore (22 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @alimokrane: some games are just difficult to convert properly.. because their gameplay is designed around a different platform. (22 minutes ago)
  • blmbox
blmbox It's only Eurogamer's opinion though, and they can sometimes go all 'Edge' on us with their scores. It's been reviewing fairly well everywhere else. (25 minutes ago)
  • Ishigami
Ishigami That is only as far as you can get with a concept that was designed for the PC. (26 minutes ago)
  • alimokrane
alimokrane It looks like they screwed up the console versions!! Shame on you Bioware! (31 minutes ago)
