Blinx 2

Even with the very average scores the first game got, Microsoft gave Artoon their chance and released Blinx 2 in the last few weeks. Unfortunately this new Blinx is not any better than the first one. Even if Artoon never released a true AAA game, they had a long time to make this game interesting. Just adding an Xbox Live mode (and it looks like it was the plan at one time considering all the customization possible for the characters) would have made this game interesting, but as is it's just a very average game not worth paying full price for.

I just received the Xbox Press Kit from the TGS, so I've already encoded a few trailers in high quality. Enjoy Metal Wolf Chaos, Blinx 2, Super Monkey Ball and Spikeout: Battle Street. And a big surprise tomorrow :)

Microsoft finally started hyping Blinx 2 a bit with a big update of the official japanese site. These 4 videos each present a different aspect of the game : Time control, Space Control, Character creation and Multiplayer.

For this last video of the morning here is the first Blinx 2 trailer. Hopefully the game developers learn from their mistakes of the first episodes, at least this video is quite nice.

Microsoft finally released the first official images of Blinx 2. Looks ok, but what's more important is that according to IGN and Gamespot the gameplay has been changed and seems a lot better now. That and live play could make that game quite interesting.
