Microsoft and Epic announced today that they would release a brand new map pack for Gears of War as soon as Thursday, for 800 MS points (free in september). The new maps are called Bullet Marsh, Garden, Process and Subway, and are visible inside.

yeah seems so. Also I just ran through it again on Hardcore just to check, and I just found out they give you the Torque Bow, lol. Iono I just never botherd clicking on the left D-Pad so I nvr knew they give it to you straight out. Yup I'm slow, I know :(

Not really scary because you aren't a vulnerable character but occasionally you get surprised by wretches or grunts busting through doors/walls.

just finished the game with my non-gameing cuz, and he almost died at how much fun he had and how out of this world it looked, the last level we kept going back to as it looked stunning, getting closeups on thoes flying beast WOW!!, and the end cutscean iceing on the cake!!, i have not had this much fun since back in the day playing Double Dragon with my mates in the arcade :)... GOW2 cant come soon enough... when one epic franchise ends HALO3, another begins...

It worked for me on hardcore and Casual, I haven't gotten that far yet in Insane, so I don't know.
With the sniper it probably took me between 11-14 maybe? I wasn't really counting. Also I wasn't really head shooting, I would switch between blind fire, and just popping up and shooting at his body. Some were head, but I think most were just body shots. I also hit my active reloads almost every time, but iono if it gives you a dmg boost with the sniper rifle, does it? Also combined with probably 1 grenade that actually hit him, the others hit near him and just scared the Kryl off. I doubt they did any dmg to him, but it did get rid of the shield so I could unload some more shots on him.
Iono I've used that tactic everytime, and I've beat both casual and hardcore atleast over 5 times each. Maybe I'll try that part on Insane, just to see if it works out like that.
Anyway, I eventually gave up on insane, I just can't pull it off, that RAAM is just too difficult to beat.
However, I decided to try it again on hardcore and I FINALY got my achievement after beating him on hardcore.
This is how I did it:
I only used the sniper, as switching between two weapons just takes to long and makes it more difficult to get a perfect reload.
(Unless you're skilled enough to do so obviously, which I'm not)
As it began, I immediatly ordered Dom to 'cease fire' and so he stayed behind with me.
This way for some reason, RAAM sent the Kryll after me by himself more often and so I didn't have to shoot at him to scare away the Kryll at all.
I got in a couple of shots and continued untill he reached me.
I then dashed to the other side, stayed behind that platform where the turret is on, and continued from there.
I would just shoot him from here which is pretty handy because you can hide behind the platform while standing all the time.
Also, when you stand here he continuously sends the Kryll after you so you can just fire away pretty much all the time.
And as he started to approach me again, I had delivered the final shot.
I tried it a couple of times after that just to see if I didn't just luck out, but it worked like 3 out of 5 times, very effective in my case.
But on insane it's another story, you just have so little time to do anything, whether it is aiming at him, or dashing for cover, you just die far to quick...

It's singleplayer and he only uses the torkbow.
Looks easy when he does it... ;)

If it doesn't work just search on google for download youtube movies or something and you'll find enough :-)
