Microsoft's and Silicon Knights' Too Human will be released in Europe tomorrow, and here's an insanely long interview from the XCN with the lead designer of the game. The interview consists of questions submitted from several sites, and it covers nordic mythology, co-op and much much more.

Well I do agree that there are top notch animators besides Japan, but Dyack should hire someone that he knows and been working with in previous projects to do his animation for Too Human.
he should hire me, I'll get the games animations back on track singled handed.

You also fight against the undead that has been re-animated back to life by nano technology. You should expect to fight against mostly robots in the game as they are the main enemy, but that doesn't mean there can't be different types of robots just like there are different types of a similar base of enemy in other games..

Didn't you see that robotic like creature in one of the too human trailers that also clearly had organic material when it opened its mouth? It sounded like a T-Rex or something. Also from what I saw in the trailer you even hunt down and have to kill people like yourself.

well I believe most of them will be robots, but like Optimus said, they're different types. Since they're going with the whole future tech/Norse theme here, most of the creatures from the Norse Myth will be incarnated into more of a robotic/mechanical vision. Like Elves, Trolls, Giants, Dwarves, all of which we've already seen, will look more robotic, technology heavy. However each will have their own traits and what not that are close to their traits in the original Norse Myth.

dont like the sound of that tbh. i disslike halo because you fight aliens. but its still ok, above that in terms of enemies is monsters, the likes of doom 3 etc. then top of the list is humans or at least human-like enemies. robots would probably fall into my most hated, unless they're in some sort highly stylised platformer. in a game like this i kinda expected blood...maybe not conan levels of blood, but blood non the less. i assumed they where showing robots to get the boring stuff out the way and let us find out the cooler enemies ourselves when we play.

man, i dont know if i can play a game with robots as the only enemy, i dont care how varied they are in terms of shape and size. they're robots. the story would have to be pretty damn special...not to mention the combat.
