After two episodes of The Surge we particularly enjoyed, we had great hopes concerning Altas Fallen. It turns out we have been a bit disappointed by the lack of feedback of the combat system and its rather slow pace. It's clearly not a bad game, but it's not as good as we were hoping for. We enjoyed the traversal aspect as it made exploring the world rather engaging, but the PS5 version has a few technical issues (framerate and image quality need some more work).

Atlas Fallen will be available this August and we're truly looking forward to playing Deck13's new game this summer. Focus Entertainment sent us a new video showcasing on gameplay and it's looking very promising to say the least.

The more we see of Atlas Fallen, the harder the wait, so we truly hope Dekc13's new title will deliver when it becomes available in May. Visually and aesthetically, it seems to be very promising so let's hope the gameplay mechanics will be at least just as fun as those of The Surge 2.

Atlas Fallen will come out on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on May 16 and Deck13 and Focus Entertainment released a bunch of new screenshots that make us want to try the game even more. If you liked The Surge series as we did, you're probably just as curious to find out what this new IP has in store for us.

We don't know much about Atlas Fallen aside from the fact that it's published by Focus and developed by Deck13, but considering we really loved The Surge and its sequels, we are confident. This first trailer shows us wht to expect in terms of game world and we can even see a few gameplay clips towards the end, so it's a pretty good start.
