where is the lighting that should be on the floor and walls from them explosions ?

i must be getting picky in my old age ...

also... mechs carrying guns does NOT look right, should the guns not be built onto the robot ... it just looks funny

The guns are not built onto the robots because they swap weapons during the match (usually mounted on their backs). There are arms that are weapon arms, in that case, they cannot swap weapons.

This game looks freakin amazing. I never seen this kinda gfx style in a game before. Its really strange. Anyone know if there will be a demo anytime on the Japanese Marketplace?

You haven't seen this before, because it couldn't on previous consoles.

Dear god I hope the HUD doesn't look like that. It seem ridiculous to take up a quarter of the screen with useless text.

I wonder how much slow down is there in the situation that we can see in the last pic... I mean, I'm not sure if it's just because of the quality of the videos & my computer, but the trailers haven't had the most stable framerate.

EDIT: Oh, and I'm fairly sure you can turn that HUD off. Not 100%, but still pretty positive about it.
