To be honest, i'm a bit disappointed at how short a distance this game is from D2 given that it's been 11 years. It's fun, but, not sure it's worth the $60 price tag.

Indeed, I played a while in the beta and decided it wasn't worth the $60 and the always-online bullshit. Unfortunate; I really wanted to like this game.

But guys, its sort of a MMORPG.

I wish I could pay at least $100 dlls for this game and I think is just so amazing that even though you can own the game I mean you payed for it, you can't play it offline.

I'm not really a big fan of D3's online only design, but there is no reason to defend stupid consumers. If you buy something you are actively approving it. And if you can't be bothered to do a little research into the product you're purchasing, well, you probably deserve to go home with a box full of shit.

I agree you all knew it's online, none of you liked it, yet you supported it by buying it. Smart. You encouraging them to use this shit in their feature games. What's worse, you showing other developers that this trick works. So next time you buy your usual single player Elder Scrolls or whatever, you'll get this.

I seriously didnt know this until it came out and i read it on Neogaf D3 thread.
I just looked at alot of gameplay videos to know I was liking what I saw and wanted to play it since I was getting into the genre, then this crap news came at me...i laughed and all interest went away.

Say your broadband company comes with a few issues and you were online and playing diablo 3. Internet goes off (yes it can happen, imagine that) and so does your single player game and now you cant play it and get kicked out lol

The problem is this game IS diablo 2 but pretty, which is bad because.. ITS DIABLO 2 BUT PRETTY! the genre has not moved on, the franchise has not moved on

its stale, and a bit Mass Effect 2 in terms of the RPG aspect.

The only issue regarding logging on was launch day "error 37" lol but that has been patched now.

So what...there is no "queue" list? You can play anytime as long as you are connected to online? Thats atleast one good news hehe.
