X05: Gun: 5 images (360)

X05: Gun: 5 images (360)

Neversoft's action-westerner game showcases with five new 360 images. Looks a bit poor, but the gameplay can still be interesting. And thank god, there are horses !

"A bit" is being too generous. This game is completely doable in this quality on XBox. I was under the impression that this was an FPS, but I guess its either interchangeable or they have changed their minds. Whatever, Neversoft hasnt impressed me in a while...

This probably ISN'T doable on the XBox because of the draw distance and texture quality alone. Doesn't take away from the fact that it looks like a really lazy port though.

damn, Activision sure knows how to make some bad press for the 360 by releasing these shitty ports. Only game that looks promising is COD2.

Slabs, there is in no way that the low res textures being used in this version are impossible to pull off on XBox. It just takes the right devs. Draw distance is a good point, but when that is one of the most notable differences with a current gen version and a next gen version...you have a problem.

What alot are failing to note is that the entire platform (360) and the entire next-gen came along a little faster then anticipated, thus catching some developers somewhat off guard. So some companies are going to hold off and actually finish their games and make good games and others are going to continue in their companies tradition and just release what they have and certain gamers will buy it because of that particular title. And this is why you are seeing these games being developed and released on multi-platform and somewhat not so next-gen graphically enhanced HD and all what you may be expecting.

  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX 45 minutes for this game would have to be like... 3+ megabytes per second. My Comcast can't do that. (6 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX My FFOW DL is almost 12.9 gigs and like 95% done. (6 Hours ago)

GriftGFX Steam appears to download extracted and installed, there's no install process once you finish downloading a game. (6 Hours ago)
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer D2D file right now is 9.2 GB's. I think it was less when I was downloading it (now its extracted) I am pretty sure Steam works the same way. 12 gb is probably the extracted size :P (6 Hours ago)
